Day 3 Mon, Nov 5 Giza Plateau & Opening Ceremony at the Sphinx/Perfumery &
Psychic Readings/Lecture with Stephen Mehler (B/L) |
|
After breakfast we head into the
desert for a spectacular camel ride to the Sphinx, where Andrea
will facilitate our Opening Ceremony to connect with the
powerful energies of this enigmatic and ageless wonder. We will focus on our
1st and 2nd chakras and align ourselves to receive our unique
gift of insight and intuition from Her, connecting with Her purpose in ancient
times, as well Her energy of purification and transformation.
Afterwards we will explore the
Valley Temple of the Sphinx, and then continue on to view the
Great Pyramid, the last standing Wonder of the Ancient World,
and other pyramids in the area. As we gaze in wonder at these magnificent
structures, some of the oldest in the world, we ponder on their influences upon
the Egyptian civilization. Our Egyptologist will give us detailed historical
information. Stephen Mehler will examine some of the controversial theories
surrounding these building of these amazing structures that are on the Plateau.
Who will ever really know the truth behind the building and construction of the
timeless monuments? Who will ever uncover all their hidden secrets? These
questions and more will offer us an interesting and exciting time among these
ancient structures.
After an early lunch of traditional
Egyptian cuisine at one of our favorite local restaurants, we'll visit the
Sheikh Abdull Perfume Palace in Nazlet el Samman, the little village at
the foot of the Sphinx, where we meet Gamal Abd El Sami Zaki and his family,
learn about the ancient Egyptian art of aromatherapy, and choose our essential
oils for meditation and healing…and to take with us to all the temples during
our trip to charge them with the transformational energies! Our Brother Gamal is
also an excellent psychic and may well offer a brief reading for those in our
group. He is available for private appointments.
Later afternoon presentation with our Featured Speaker Stephen Mehler,
MA: The Indigenous Egyptian Wisdom Tradition.
Dinner on your own; explore the excellent restaurants in the hotel.
Overnight Giza.

|
Day 4 Tue, Nov 6 Dashur and Sakkara/Optional: Sound & Light
Show at the Sphinx (B/L) |
|
Afterwards we spend the remainder of
the afternoon at Dashur and Sakkara. Our first stop is Dashur,
one of the best places to see large pyramids. Dashur forms the southernmost area
of the Memphis Necropolis and contains a number of pyramid complexes and
monuments. Since it has only recently been opened to the public, having been a
military zone until 1996, the area has not been developed commercially and there
is a certain peace and tranquility. We will visit the Red Pyramid,
named for the red limestone used in its construction, entering into it for
exploration and experience with sound healing, believed by the indigenous
Egyptian tradition to have been its purpose. On the way out of the area we will
view the Bent Pyramid, also built out of limestone that was
quarried locally. As we make our way through this amazing area, we will keep the
focus to receive the ancient energies into our hearts, through our minds, in the
way of the ancient Egyptians who believed that the heart was in the mind.
Excellent buffet lunch of
traditional Egyptian fare at one of our local favorites - The Nest!
We then continue to Sakkara, the earliest necropolis, or burial
place, for the Pharaohs and royalty of the Memphis area. Here we view Old
Kingdom pyramids that rise on the west bank. Traditional Egyptologists tell us
that in about 2630 B.C. Imhotep, architect to King Djoser (Dynasty III),
masterminded the Step Pyramid at Sakkara. We will hear from our Egyptologist why
some experts believe this to be the world's oldest freestanding stone structure,
and from our Speaker Stephen Mehler why the indigenous Egyptian tradition
teachings differ with these dates. Then, we will explore the historical and
esoteric aspects of this ancient site. We enter the site by walking through the
temple complex filled with rows of columns, where the ancient priests and
priestess used sound to perform healings.
Andrea will lead the group in a sound healing meditation to
explore this ancient healing art that was the main focus of this temple complex.
Open your heart, open your mind, and open your 5th chakra to
receive the healing that comes through death and transmutation, and send it out
into the world!
Return to Giza and the hotel.
Sharing Circle with Andrea and Stephen. Dinner on your own.
Maybe you'd like to reserve a table at the hotel's Mogul House, with its
exquisite Indian cuisine.
Optional Sound & Light Show at the Sphinx. The dazzling light
show with the awe-inspiring backdrop of the Sphinx and Pyramids is beautiful and
inspiring! You get a glimpse back in time to see, feel, and imagine how it was
when the powerful ancient Egyptians ruled.
Overnight Giza.

Day 5 Wed, Nov 7 Hakim Awyan /Cairo Museum/To Luxor (B) |
|
Special Presentation:
Khemetian Indigenous Wisdom Keeper Abd'El Hakim Awyan will join
us this morning for a question/answer period. Hakim has 50 years experience as a
tour guide in Egypt, holds degrees in Egyptology and archaeology, and is
recognized internationally as a healer and Ambassador for Peace from Egypt. Do
join us for this lively discussion that is sure to set you on your heels!
Early lunch on your own, then we
check out of the hotel and depart for our private visit to the world-famous
Cairo Museum, with its collection of relics dating back to antiquity.
We will see artifacts from the different periods of ancient Egypt - pre, Old,
Middle, & New Kingdoms. One of the highlights of the visit for many people is
the visit to the famous and priceless treasures of Tut-Ankh-Amon. You can see
for example, the intricate workmanship and the tiniest details of the contents
of the articles packed for this King to accompany him to the next world. Maybe
during your time at the museum you will feel that special energetic pull to a
former time and life as you gaze at some of the artifacts.
We then depart to the airport for our late afternoon short flight to Luxor. We
arrive and transfer to our luxurious hotel on the banks of the Nile. Dinner on
your own. Overnight Luxor. |
| |
 |
| |
|
Day 6 Thu, Nov 8 Temple of Karnak & Sekhmet Chapel/Temple
of Luxor (B) |
|
After our buffet breakfast we depart
to explore the energies of the vast Temple of Karnak. Once
connected to Luxor Temple, two miles away, by a long avenue of Sphinxes (which
are still partially intact), Karnak is dedicated to Amon-Ra,
the Power of Creation, and his wife Mut. The Temple is
the largest columned temple in the world. Other areas contain obelisks
that were beacons to the pilgrims that made their way here in ancient times.
One of the highlights of our time here will be our visit to visit to the
incomparable Sekhmet Chapel, where Andrea will facilitate our
Sacred Ceremony to connect with our 1st chakra energies,
represented by Sekhmet, the Lion Goddess, companion of Ptah,
and "Daughter of Ra." She also personifies the powerfully protective
Unconditional Love of the Mother, and the transformative energy that destroys
the ego and brings you into alignment with your Higher Self.
Later morning return to the hotel. Lunch on your own. Maybe book a massage this
afternoon at the spa in the hotel. Or visit the local souk (marketplace) for
some excellent bargains and real fun! Enjoy exploring parts of Luxor on your
own.
Our evening visit under the stars to magnificent Luxor Temple
is a real treat! In the cool of the evening we walk the ancient areas of this
amazing structure and connect with its ancient energies. In the Holy of Holies
Andrea will lead the group in a Sacred Ceremony to connect with
the energies of the 6th chakra, the 3rd Eye, the intuitive
energies. Our quiet time for meditation will enable us to experience the
mystical synthesis of the energies of this sacred site, and how it relates to
our individual ongoing search for spiritual truth.
Return walking to the hotel. Dinner on your own. Enjoy sitting out under the
stars at the restaurant area near the banks of the Nile!
Overnight Luxor.

|
Day 7 Fri, Nov 9 Abydos and Dendera (B/L) |
|
After an early breakfast we depart
by motor coach in our private convoy to Abydos, cradle of the
oldest dynasties and the holy city dedicated to Osiris, Neter
of Death and Renewal. Ancient Egyptians were required to make a pilgrimage here
at least once in their lifetimes; today we make ours! We have time for a long
and thorough visit to the various rooms that are temples to various deities,
with some of the most well preserved colors on the walls in all of Egypt. One of
the highlights of our visit will be to the mysterious Osireion,
built with gigantic stones not found anywhere else in Egypt. Built with no
mortar, this powerful building resembles many of the other ancient megalithic
sites around the world, more than it does those in Egypt. On one of the pillars
in the temple we will see the ancient symbol of the Flower of Life.
Andrea will facilitate a Sacred Ceremony to open our
4th chakra to connect with Osiris, the energy of our True Immortal
Self. Receive His blessing for the rebirth of your "New Self"! Rejoice as the
old patterns that no longer serve you fall away and more Love and Light take
their place.
We make our way back towards Luxor, stopping late afternoon at Dendera,
known as "the Lourdes of ancient Egypt," the magnificent temple consecrated to
Hathor, in Her role as the great Goddess of Love and Healing.
We will see the replica of the famous Dendera Zodiac and visit
the various areas of the temple, including the crypt, where Stephen Mehler will
explain some of the current theories regarding the panels on the walls.
In the
Temple of the Birthing of the Universe, where the mysteries of the birth of
cosmic order from primordial chaos were celebrated, our Sacred Ceremony
will focus on moving our consciousness again today into our 4th chakra
center, to our hearts to experience the joy and peace of Unconditional Love.
We return to Luxor and our hotel. Dinner on your own.
Overnight Luxor. |

|

next three days.

plenty of time for questions and answers. Learn more of the ancient indigenous
Egyptian teachings, and Stephen's cutting-edge research that is rocking the
foundations of traditional Egyptology.
We'll also have another Sharing Circle. Overnight Cruise Ship. |
|
|
Day 9 Sun, Nov 11 Valley of the Kings/ Hatshepsut's Temple/Colossi of Memnon/Lecture
with Andrea Pinkham (B/L/D) |
|
In the morning we depart to the
Necropolis of Thebes, along the West Bank of the Nile. In the Valley of
the Kings we visit selected tombs of the pharaohs, vibrant with scenes
of ancient daily life. We also visit Queen Hatshepsut's magnificent
Temple to Amun at Der el Bahari. Take a few minutes in one of the
out-of-the-way areas of her temple to connect with the energies of one of the
most famous of all the female Pharaohs. On the way back to the nearby village we
stop for a few minutes at the immense Colossi of Memnon,
enormous statues that are the remains of the mortuary temple of Amenophis III.
On the way back to the cruise ship,
we'll stop at a local alabaster factory, where you will see
demonstrations of how this stone is worked into many different and beautiful
items. Time for making your purchases to carry home for yourself and gifts for
others as well.
Lunch onboard the cruise ship and we set sail on the Nile! We're off on our
journey on its sacred waters, blessed by Hapy, God of the Nile.
This afternoon take time to sit up on the upper deck, enjoy the cool breeze and
warm sun, and maybe even take a dip in the swimming pool.
Afternoon session with Andrea Pinkham, about the

|
Day 10 Mon,
Nov 12 Edfu/Kom Ombo/arrive Aswan. (B/L/D) |
|
After an early breakfast we depart for our morning visit to Edfu,
dedicated to Horus, son of Isis and Osiris, the falcon-headed
Neter who is the symbol of the Higher Self. The temple complex is one of the
finest examples of Ptolemaic art in Egypt and perhaps one of the best
preserved of the entire ancient world. We will explore the various
temples with our Egyptologist, viewing the richly decorated important scenes
related to the divinities associated with the cult of Horus: Osiris, Isis, Sokar,
and Khonsu. Our Sacred Ceremony facilitated by Andrea will
connect us with our 3rd chakra energies and Horus, that we
might use our creative energies to connect with our own Higher Selves.
Return to cruise ship for lunch. Free time in the afternoon to enjoy sailing.
Sharing Circle on deck at tea time.
In the early evening we round a bend in the Nile and behold Kom Ombo,
a magnificent edifice of energy-filled ruins overlooking the river. Our visit
will take us through this famous dual temple dedicated to Sobek
and Horus ...deities of the Light and Dark. Andrea will lead
the group in a short meditation to connect with our 2nd
chakra energies and Light and Dark in ourselves.
We return to the cruise ship for dinner on board and sail to Aswan, where we
arrive late evening. Overnight Cruise Ship.

|
Day 11
Tue, Nov 13 Temple of Isis/Unfinished Obelisk/Felucca Ride
(B/L/D) |
|
Awaken to Aswan,
one of the world's most beautiful resorts, noted for nature, peace and quiet,
located on the First Cataract of the Nile and gateway to Nubia. With its
colorful bazaar, laid-back atmosphere, warm and welcoming people and a lovely
promenade along the Nile, Aswan is a favorite city in Egypt for many visitors.
After an early breakfast we depart to the relocated temples on the
Island of Agilkia, which were formerly on the Island of Philae
but were moved piece by piece to their present location when the Aswan High Dam
was built. The name Philae comes from the ancient Egyptian word Pilak, meaning
“the remote place.” Philae was the southernmost place in Egypt, and the last
outpost of the 4,000 year-old ancient Egyptian religion. During the Greco-Roman
period, Philae was a sacred island and an important cult center dedicated to
Isis, Goddess of Healing and Magic, and wife/sister of Osiris.
Among the other temples here we will explore the delicately elegant and feminine
Temple of Isis. Here, in the Holy of Holies, Andrea, a member
of The Fellowship of Isis, will facilitate our Sacred Ceremony
to Isis, to assist you to open your 1st and 2nd chakra energies
to be forever connected with Her energies of love and healing.
On the way back to the cruise ship we stop at the Unfinished Obelisk
for a gander at this gigantic block of Aswan granite. Stephen Mehler
will explain the various theories regarding research that shows that it was
machined, and NOT carved by hand!
We return to Aswan for lunch onboard our cruise ship. After lunch you have free
time to explore the souk on your own, walk along the promenade next to the Nile,
or just relax onboard. Time for a Sharing Circle, then we leave
the cruise ship and board a local felucca (a small traditional
sailboat) to enjoy a peaceful and serene ride on the Nile at
sunset. Bring your camera! Return to our ship for the evening. Dinner onboard.
Overnight Cruise Ship. |
| |
| |
|
Day 12 Wed, Nov 14 Optional: Abu Simbel Excursion or Elephantine
Island & Botanical Garden on Kitchner Island/Nubian Village/Optional Sound &
Light Show at Temple of Isis (B/L) |
|
This morning you have two optional excursions to choose
from: Abu Simbel (accompanied by our Egyptologist): Located
near the southern border of Egypt with Sudan. The Great Temple is dedicated to
Rameses II and Queen Nefertari, the love of
his life. The temple's facade is dominated by four enormous seated statues of
the Pharaoh, each over 67 feet high. The temples were shifted to higher ground
in the 1960s as the waters of Lake Nasser began to rise following completion of
the Aswan High Dam.
The other optional visit is to Elephantine Island,
where the ancient Temple of Khnum, the main cult center of the
ram-headed creator god, is located. Traditional Egyptology dates the temple to
the reign of Queen Hatshepsut in the 18th Dynasty, though there are also
references to a Temple of Khnum on the island as early as the 3rd Dynasty. The
museum on the island is full of many interesting artifacts,
including a mummified ram of Khnum. We will examine Graham Hancock's theory
which postulates that an ancient Jewish Temple was built here to house the
Ark of The Covenant. Do you connect with energies of that
ancient artifact here? Afterwards we visit the lovely Botanical Garden
on Kitchner Island for a relaxing stroll among the
many beautiful native plants.
Later morning we disembark from the cruise ship and check
into our hotel in Aswan, located on the banks of the Nile. Lunch on your own.
In the afternoon we visit a local Nubian home.
A time to meet the very friendly and extremely interesting people from
this culture that has been in this area since antiquity.
Return to the hotel. Enjoy dinner on your own.
Optional visit to Temple of Isis for the Sound and Light Show.
Enjoy the spectacular lights of the multimedia presentations which vividly
reveal the form and majesty of this ancient site. Walk through the dramatically
lit temple as its history is narrated. Overnight Aswan.

|
Day 13 Thu, Nov 15 To Cairo/Papyrus Factory/Optional Visit to the Khan El
Kahlili (B) |
After breakfast we disembark from the cruise ship and transfer to
the airport for our return flight to Cairo. Upon arrival we transfer back to the
Giza Plateau and check in at our hotel. Lunch on your own.
In the afternoon we visit a local papyrus factory,
where we view a demonstration of how the
ancient Egyptians made and kept their documents, and have the opportunity to
acquire some of the finest papyrus art that you will see in all of Egypt.
Return to the hotel. Dinner on your own.
Optional evening visit to the Khan El Kahlili. Once known as
the Turkish bazaar during the Ottoman period, the 'Khan' is named for the great
Caravansary, the market that was built in 1382 by the Emir Djaharks el-Khalili.
It's one of Cairo's most important shopping areas. You can buy all manner of
souvenirs! Treasures await you! A delicious dinner at a traditional Egyptian
restaurant in the Khan is included.Overnight Cairo. |
|
|
|
Day 14 Fri, Nov 16 Option: Old Cairo/Private Closing Ceremony
in the Great Pyramid/Farewell Dinner (B/D) |
Optional tour of Old Cairo.
As ancient as history itself, Cairo occupies a singular place among world
cities. With its geographical position as a crossroads, it could be the world's
only city with monuments dating back to four different historical periods - the
Pharaonic, the Roman, the Christian and the Islamic. Old Cairo is a very
fascinating place! Visit The Citadel that was for 700 years the strategic
stronghold for Cairo, overlooking the city, and easy to defend. In it there are
some museums, palaces, and three mosques, including The Mohammed Ali Mosque,
or Alabaster Mosque, one of Cairo's most famous landmarks.
Or, your morning is free. Lunch on your own.
In the afternoon we go to the Giza Plateau, where we have our private
entrance into the Great Pyramid for our Closing Ceremony inside
the King's Chamber. We will focus on our 6th and 7th chakras
and open them to energize ourselves for the final initiation experience of our
journey. In our private space away from crowds of tourists, we will have time to
connect with the ancient spiritual energies that are still palpable in this
enigmatic edifice. Will you too see and hear the ancient priests and priestesses
who long ago performed rituals here for healing and transformation? Will you
feel their love and support for you? Take this auspicious opportunity to connect
with the Spirit of the Indwelling God/Goddess in your Soul. Depending on the
group size and allotted time, each person will be able to lie in the
"sarcophagus" for private meditation. Also, as part of our group meditation we
will focus on harnessing the incredibly powerful transformative energies that
are innate in the pyramid, to send peace, love and healing to all people on our
planet.
We return to the hotel. Take time to rest, relax, and integrate before our
traditional Egyptian Farewell Dinner at the hotel. Followed by
our last Sharing Circle and fond Good-byes. Overnight
Giza.
