|
Day

|
Depart your home city on your international flight to London. In flight
overnight. |
|
|
 |
|
Day 2 Sat, May
17: Arrive London, to Glastonbury (D) |
|

Morning arrival
in London. Proceed through Immigration, Baggage Claim & Customs, where we
all gather and meet with Karen Rae and our driver. We then board our coach
for a lovely drive through the English countryside to historic Salisbury
to visit the breathtaking 1000 year old Salisbury Cathedral. We then
journey on to historical Glastonbury, notable for its myths
and legends concerning Joseph of Arimathea, the
Holy Grail and the tales of King Arthur. Situated
on a powerful leyline, Glastonbury is considered one of the most powerful
energetic places in the world. The town is also considered the birthplace of
Christianity in Roman Britain with the first Christian Church being built
here at Joseph's request. In Arthurian myths, Glastonbury is thought to be
the fabled Avalon. Today the town is known as a centre for
pilgrims and spiritual seekers looking to connect with the sacred energies
of mysticism, religion, and historical lore.
Upon our arrival
we check into our lovely hotel in nearby Wells- The Swan- about a 10 minute
drive from the small town of Glastonbury, a former retreat for monks, nuns
and pilgrims at The Abbey. Time for a short rest, and then we meet for an
Introductory Meeting with our Tour Leader, Karen Rae Wilson.
During our journey we will be invoking, consecrating and activating the
vision – through songs, stories, ceremony and ritual we will be seeking to
restore the balance of the masculine and the feminine heart. Re-igniting the
twin flames of our essence and Re-membering why we came.
Karen Rae will begin to share more about the power of the sacred sites that
we will be visiting on our journey and how we can use their power to
activate our visions and dreams. During our “Welcome to England”
dinner at the hotel you will have an opportunity to share your intentions
with Karen Rae and get to know the special people who have gathered for this
journey.
Overnight: The Swan Hotel, Wells (6 nights).

Day 3
Sun, May 18: Glastonbury – The Tor and Chalice Well (B) |

After breakfast we depart to the
mystical Glastonbury Tor,
located in the beautiful Summerland Meadows. The word "Tor", is of Celtic
origin, meaning conical hill which describes the attributes of the Tor
itself. Some believe the formation of the Tor to be the remains of an
anceint labyrinth. In Celtic mythology, the Tor is home to the Gwyn ap Nudd,
the King of the Fairies and the lord of the underworld. Legend suggests
that the hill is hollow with the top of the Tor leading to a magical
underworld.
Here, on hallowed ground, Karen Rae will lead us in setting our
intentions for the journey and an initiation into the Lineage of the Rose
– a celebration of the sovereign power of the feminine and the courage and
nobility of the sacred masculine.
Beside
the Tor we find the Chalice Hill with its sacred Chalice
Well. The well is the symbol of the feminine, the mother, and is a
site for quiet contemplation and meditation. Travellers from all over have
visited the well to receive healing from its magnetic and powerful waters. Here
we will drink the healing waters from the Chalice Well and make prayers in the
sacred garden.
Afternoon free for lunch on your own and individual exploration in Glastonbury.
Return to the hotel later in the afternoon. Dinner on your own.

Day 4 Mon, May 19: Glastonbury Abbey; Private Entrance at Stonehenge for Full
Moon! (B, D) |

After breakfast we depart for The Abbey, considered the "oldest
above-ground Christian church in the world", built by Joseph of Arimathea.
The original church has been described by historians as “the holiest place
in all of England” and is reputed to be the earlier hiding place of the
Holy Grail. It is also thought to be the burial site of King Arthur and
Guinivere.
Free time to explore more of Glastonbury on your own, shop, rest, reflect
and prepare for the Full Moon ceremony that evening. Lunch on your own.
Return to the hotel in the afternoon. Group dinner at the hotel.
 This
evening we have a Private Entrance at the sacred ancient stone circle
of Stonehenge where Karen Rae will lead us in a Wesak Full
Moon Ceremony to activate a vision of peace and harmony on Earth. Here
you will partake in a special Red Wine Initiation Ceremony of the Grail
as we invoke blessings for our beloved Mother Earth and all of
Humanity. This is an extraordinary opportunity to take part in ceremony
dedicated to the restoration of the divine feminine as a profound healing
presence for the Earth. The remainder of the ceremony will assist you to
activate a personal vision for your life and connect with the ancient
spirits of this magical place.

Day 5 Tue, May 20: Avebury, Silbury Hill & West Kennett Longbarrow (B, D) |
After an early breakfast we
journey through the beautiful and scenic countryside to explore the ancient
stone circles and sacred Goddess sites. At each site you will
feel her powerful energies and tap into Her guidance and wisdom.
We hope to reach Avebury near dawn for a Sunrise Ceremonial Walk,
down through The Avenue to the main stone circle. We will chant and
“sing the stones” as we take in the power and beauty of the Earth and
connect with the powerful ancient energies here. Karen Rae will lead us in a
special Grail Initiation as we greet the beauty of the rising sun.
We will visit The Sanctuary, a remnant from the past in honour of
the Goddess and her earth-based traditions.
 We
then journey on to Silbury Hill, one of the tallest man-made land
formations in Europe. The exact purpose of the hill is unknown. Some
theories state it is actually an ancient sundial or solar observatory to
determine the seasons, others state is the burial site of King Sil, while
other still say it was created in homage to the Winter Goddess or the Mother
Goddess as symbol of the harvest or fertility. We wrap up our day with
a visit to West Kennett Longbarrow, a neolithic tomb, and
one of the largest and best preserved monuments of its kind in
Britain. Lunch on your own.
Afterwards we drive through the countryside where we may see crop
circle formations from this season.
