Tour Description

Join our journey of inner and outer exploration through the Landscape of the Heart!

Come in sacredness to the sacred center of Eiru, the Emerald Isle, where She still calls Her children home. Follow the footsteps of the Goddesses to celebrate and honor Her in Her sacred places.

Journey to the Maiden, Mother and Crone. Face the Dark Goddess and dance with the Wild Spirit within us all!

At the following places during our Sacred Pilgrimage we will honor these aspects of the  Goddess:

Limerick - Aine the Sun Maiden

Kerry - Anu, the Great Mother

West Cork - Cailleach, the Crone of Ireland

Kildare - Bridget, “'Mary of the Gauls”, the Triple Goddess

Meath, the royal center of Ireland - Tlachtga the Dark Goddess

Westmeath - Home of Eiru Herself

Burren - A place of the underworld and the Ancient Ones

What is a pilgrimage?

A Pilgrimage is the inner calling. It is often the answer to that inner longing which ever draws you forth upon your journey. It is both a spiritual and physical journey, sometimes moving in silence and sometimes dancing in ecstasy. A place where the mundane melts into the fullness of the divine. On this Pilgrimage we will walk in reverence and awareness of Her sacred nature - finding ourselves through Her and finding Her within ourselves.  We will move into rituals and ceremonies as She calls unto us

About your Tour Leader:

Amantha Murphy is our Celtic and Shamanic guide throughout the journey.

"I grew up spending my summers here in Kerry with my grandmother, a midwife and healer, who opened my awareness from an early age to the essence of the Mother, the Land and Her Nature. I work primarily with the presence of the Grandmothers and the Way of the Sidhe, our Shining Ones, the Tuatha De Danann." - Amantha Murphy

Amantha started her spiritual work publicly 32 years ago as a clairvoyant and moved on to trance mediumship. She developed many tools along the Way with her spirit and ancestral teachers guiding her, she works with both individuals and groups, at home and internationally.

Amantha's teachings have come from her ancestral teachers, her Grandmother and the land Herself. Amantha's focus is very much on Sacred Ceremony, the Celtic Wheel and Rites of Passage.

Amantha is a Mother and Grandmother and lives in Kerry, Ireland with her two children and grandchildren. She facilitates a meditation group, woman's group and ongoing shamanic groups.

Terri O’Hara has been communicating with animals all of her life. As a child, her abilities to understand communication from animals were considered a “creative imagination”. As Terri became an adult, she realized that her abilities to “hear” the animals were not imagination but very real. However, serving as her own best critic, she thought this was far fetched and did not pursue her gift for many years.

Terri O’Hara has now been a professional Animal Communicator for ten years and has helped thousands of people and their animal companions nationally and internationally. She works with dogs, cats, horses, hedgehogs, and many other domestic animals. Her services include intuitive readings and counseling for people and their animal companions. Sessions are conducted in person or over the telephone. She also provides workshops on how to improve communication with your personal animal friends, teaching children to honor their wisdom with animals, and also offers educational presentations to veterinary offices, animal organizations and various groups.

Terri is an Irish-American who truly identifies with her Irish heritage. Her cultural lineage goes back to Ireland on both sides of her family. She has incorporated Irish traditions into her life since childhood, and practices Celtic and Pagan spirituality within her personal and professional life. Her love of animals and the deep, open connection she treasures with all beings is reinforced by the Irish ways of honoring all life.

Terri lives in the beautiful foothills of the Rocky Mountains west of Denver, Colorado with her three dogs, two cats, and a rabbit.

These ancient Goddess figures are abundant in Ireland; there are over 70 known Sheela images. We spend the day with the Sisters and honor Bridget. Later we check into our accommodations in Navan.  Group dinner. Overnight Navan.

Day 6 - Wed, Jul 12:   Hill of Tara, Hill of Ward, Wise Woman Cave (B/D)

The High King of Ireland was crowned here for millennia; it is said the "stones roared" when the He was accepted. Lunch on your own. Then we continue to the Hill of Ward, home of Tlachtga, one of the most powerful druid priestesses in Ireland. The site is also known as the 'Druids' Hill.

We continue to Loughcrew, seat of The Hag, where there are many cairns, or caves, the largest dedicated to The Hag, or The Wise Woman. The cairn is encircled by 37 large kerbstones, one 10 ft by 6 ft, shaped like a throne or ceremonial seat, and known as the Hag's Seat. At the entrance there are stones intricately carved with patterns thousands of years old. Return to our accommodations for our group dinner. Overnight Navan.

Day 7 - Thu, Jul 13:   Uisneach, to Ballyvaughn (B/D)
Depart this morning to Uisneach, the sacred center of Ireland, dedicated to Eiru, and known as the 'midi' or the fifth province, the place between the worlds. The clans used to converge here at Beltaine to arrange hand-fastings and deals, before Tara became the royal seat. Up until the middle of the 18th century there was a road directly linking Uisneach and Tara. It was at Uisneach that the Earls swore to return when they had to flee the wrath of Cromwell, and it was at Uisneach that the Irish flag was at last held aloft and the land was re-named Eire in honor of Eiru in the 1920's.

Day 8 - Fri, Jul 14:   The Cliffs of Moher and Animal Communication (B)

We start at the O'Brien Castle and walk up to the cliffs, where the land meets the wild ocean and constantly 'dance with each other'. The cliffs are home to hundreds of nestling birds. A magnificent place. In the afternoon, Terri O’Hara will open your senses to the animals and help you begin to learn the spiritual messages being shared by animals.
Return to the hotel. Dinner on your own. Overnight Ballyvaughn.

Day 9 - Sat, Jul 15:   The Burren, Farewell Dinner (B/D)
