On the western shores visit serene Oban, Mull and the sacred Isle of Iona, where St Columba came to Scotland. Commemorate the journey of the Vikings from Norway and the arrival of the later Knights Templar, whose appearance at the Battle of Bannockburn insured freedom for all Scotland. Visit Edinburgh Castle, a haunted underground Close, the first Templar outpost in Scotland, and world-famous Rosslyn Chapel. These and other places we will explore and experience are so rich in history and tradition that the Scots themselves regularly visit them to learn about their beloved homeland!

Edinburgh: Enjoy its diverse sites of famous Edinburgh Castle, St. Giles Cathedral and the Chapel of the Thistle, the Royal Mile, and Holyrood Palace.

Balantrodoch (present-day Temple): Walk the hallowed grounds of the cemetery and ancient chapel at the first Templar stronghold in Scotland.

Rosslyn Chapel: Explore this world-famous mysterious and controversial church where the most prized relics of the Knights Templars are believed to reside. Hear about the secret history of the Knights Templar and Freemasons, as well as their patrons, the Sinclairs, builders of the chapel.

During the Optional Extension to Wick in Northern Scotland:
Visit the Prince Henry Sinclair Perceptory, a repository of many priceless Templar relics and texts.  Hear about Templar history, including the voyage of Price Henry St. Clair from Scotland to North America 100 years before Columbus!

Sinclair-Girnigoe Castle: Explore this important maritime fortification, with World Monument status, the only castle in Scotland to achieve this distinction, putting it on a par with the Great Wall of China.

SPECIAL OFFERING:
Mark and Andrea Pinkham, Directors of The International Order of Gnostic Templars will offer the optional opportunity to join the Order as a Lady in Waiting or Squire, or receive advanced Accolades for current IOGT members, during the optional extension to the IOGT Templar Preceptory in northern Scotland portion.
