Stephen Mehler

Stephen Mehler’s fascination with ancient Egypt, which began at the age of eight, has guided his education and spiritual work all his life. Mehler holds three degrees in the sciences and is a trained field archaeologist and prehistorian. Mehler also served as a Staff research scientist for the Rosicrucian Order, AMORC, in San Jose, California from 1978-1980.

For 16 years, 1992-2008 , Mehler was a student, disciple, and close friend of Egyptian-born Egyptologist and indigenous wisdom keeper, Abd’El Hakim Awyan (1926-2008), popularly known as Hakim. Stephen has written two books, The Land of Osiris (Adventures Unlimited Press, 2001) and From Light Into Darkness: The Evolution Of Religion In Ancient Egypt (Adventures Unlimited Press, 2005), based on his work and collaboration with Hakim and Stephen’s over 40 years of research in the area. Stephen is currently Director of Research of both the Great Pyramid of Giza Research Association and his own Land Of Osiris Research Project. He is working on a third book based on his work with Hakim.

Mehler has researched the phenomenon of crystal skulls since 1979, especially those known as ancient crystal skulls. Mehler has experienced and tested four skulls that he has labeled ancient artifacts and has seen as many as nine that could fit that category. Stephen has written a book on the subject with David Hatcher Childress, The Crystal Skulls: Astonishing Portals To Man’s Past (Adventures Unlimited Press, 2008).


Ms. Vivian Zaki, PhD

Ms. Vivian Zaki, PhD, Egyptologist/Tour Guide is extremely knowledgeable, very professional, and also very warm and friendly. Vivian has a degree in Archaeology and Tourism, with over 15 years experience guiding groups in Egypt.

Vivian also brings a vast knowledge of alternative indigenous understanding of ancient Egypt with her academic training in Egyptology as she has worked with Stephen for four years and was a guide on Stephen's last tour with Hakim in March 2007. Besides being a wonderful guide, Vivian is a very spiritual person and is an active participant in all our ceremonies.

Shahrzad Awyan

Shahrzad is Hakim’s eldest daughter and the lineage bearer of the family tradition. She is also an internationally known healer and teacher—in the ancient Egyptian techniques--and she will share that knowledge with our group.
 

Yousef Awyan

Yousef is also becoming a wisdom keeper in his father’s tradition. He will offer us profound insights on site and be available at the Awyan home for further initiations in the Khemitian Mystery School.
