Greetings!
Spring is finally upon us and what a wondrous time it is. Can you feel the buzzing of energy that is swirling about right now? Birds are chirping wildly, the trees are budding, the flowers are pushing their way up through the earth, and even the wind is blowing a more welcoming breeze. How fortunate we are to be experiencing the living earth in all its glory!
Hopefully fortune found its way to you along with the luck of the Irish this past St. Patrick's day, but if not, we have a wonderful way for you to slide on down that rainbow to find your very own pot of gold in magical Ireland with author, teacher, and filmmaker, Phil Cosuineau, on our journey, Land of Myth and Mystery, September 13 - 24, 2010. Travel back in time with visits to some of Ireland's most sacred places, learn about the rich culture through stories, celtic tales, and insightful lectures, experience the romantic and passionate nature of the people through poetry and music, and enjoy roaming the misty moors. Who knows, you might even spot a leprechaun!
If you are already feeling fortunate and wish to pass this on to others, then we suggest joining our journey to Peru, Heart of the Pachamama, September 17 - 28, 2010. The people of Peru have recently suffered the wrath of heavy rains and floods since December. With the rainy season now in full swing, the water continues to pound down mercilessly and devastatingly. It has been estimated that over 10,000 people have lost their homes already, while many have lost their lives as well. With so many of the locals relying on tourism to make a living, we urge you all to consider travelling here with us this September. Access to Machu Picchu will reopen in April and hopefully travellers will start making their way to Peru once again. As a way of giving thanks to the people of Peru who have welcomed us into their hearts and homes for so many years, Sacred Earth Journeys will be donating $50 per person on behalf of our journey participants, to Ayni Ayllu Weaving Cooperative, a local foundation close to our tour leader Puma’s heart as well as our own. We hope many of you will join us on this transformational journey.

The Mayan Calendar and the Cosmic Plan

Interest in the Mayan calendar has surged in recent years as a result of the interest in the year 2012. This has prompted investigations into the nature of this
calendar that has revealed a hitherto unknown understanding of the cosmos as evolving according to a cosmic plan. In fact the Mayan calendar has turned out to be
the missing piece of the puzzle that allows us to see the connections between all things
and ourselves as co-creators in a large-scale evolutionary scheme. The Mayan calendar
rewrites history and the very origin of the universe and its life, which can now be seen to
be purposeful and directed. The direction of this evolution is the object of this one day symposium, which will also teach the participants about their individual relationships to this calendar.
There will also be an evening talk on Friday, June 4 from 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm. Registration will be open soon. Please contact us for more details.
