This has been in the works for many years and he has finally decided to make the trip north to Vancouver, Canada and we are honoured and excited to welcome him! Please read below for more details...

Maya Sacred Wisdom Workshop & Ceremony

The time of the Maya is now as their visionary calendar approaches its end date in 2012. This dates signifies the transition into a new era when a prediction for a major transformation for the planet has been cast. During this weekend workshop and sacred Maya Ceremony, Miguel Angel will share the gifts left for us by the ancient Maya through a series of lectures, discussions and meditations. Saturday, June 6
Time: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

Today we immerse ourselves completely into the mystical world of the Maya. Miguel Angel will begin by delving deeply into the Maya Cosmovision, starting with the Mayan gods and goddesses and the Mayan creation story. We will then learn how to create our own sacred space through the use of Maya rituals. With everything around us and within us changing so rapidly, now more than ever, we need to understand the importance of sacred space. We will also learn the 13 Maya Sacred Salutations, the Sacred Cardinal Corners of the cosmos, the Maya Lords, colours, elements, offerings, Sacred Maya Prayers and Mantras, and more! Later in the day Miguel Angel will discuss the Origin of the Sacred Maya Calendars. The ancient Maya looked at time differently than we do today and worked with a series of precise and sophisticated calendars. We will learn about the different calendars used, what their purpose was and how to apply those teachings in our lives today. As we move closer to the year 2012, it is important to understand the Mayan Prophecies and their sources. What do the prophecies tell us? What do they mean? How can we prepare ourselves for the shift which will take place in 2012? Miguel Angel will shed light on this highly interesting subject and help us to understand what the Ancient Maya wanted us to know as well as how these prophecies have been interpreted by the Maya Elders of today.

Today we gather in the splendours of nature to connect with Mother Earth and Father Sky for our Sacred Maya Ceremony. We will invoke the Maya gods and goddesses, invite the lords of the 4 directions, sound the conch shell, make offerings of copal, chant ancient mantras, and be guided by Miguel Angel through the magic of an ancient Maya Ceremony. It will be a very special day and a wonderful way to give thanks to Miguel Angel and the ancient Maya for all their wisdom and gift of knowledge.

Private Sessions
Miguel Angel will also be offering one hour private sessions where he will share with you the inner messages coming from the Maya glyphs in your personal Maya Birth Chart; the sacred meanings and how they can be used in your life. The purpose is to help you find balance between your Spiritual Mission and the material objectives in your life. The information is intended to act as a guide on how to use your spiritual gifts in balance with your physical being for a healthy, prosperous, and successful life.  

During the hour Miguel Angel will answer your questions, using the Mayan Glyphs as a guide, to help you discover insights into what is going on in your life now and how you can use your spiritual gifts to find harmony and balance.

He requires your date of birth, with time and place if possible, when you book the session. Included is an audio recording of the session, and a written sheet with the glyphs and main information.

Maya Consciousness: The Vibration of Love and Wisdom
Maya sacred wisdom has survived many centuries through ceremonies, rituals, mantras, sacred writings, archaeological wonders, artwork, and oral traditions. Working from these sources, Miguel Angel will share with us some of the many gifts the ancient ones left for us. He will discuss the gift of Maya Consciousness (raising our vibration to the vibration of love and wisdom), introduce us to the Maya Cosmovision, explain how the ancient Maya perceived the universe, and share how the Mayan Calendars and prophecies for 2012 are relevant to us today. Included in the evening is a special guided meditation.

About Miguel Angel Vergara Calleros
Miguel Angel teaches us how to connect with the Masters of Light who are available to teach and guide us now as in ancient times. He studied with Mayan Elder, Don Vincente Martin, for 17 years, was a director of Chichen Itza for 4 years, and is the author of several books on the Maya, including 2 on Chichen Itza and one on Maya goddesses. He is also the cofounder of the Maya Cosmic Institute in Merida, Yucatan.
