Happy Earth Day!
In honour of this special day, we wanted to send out our best wishes for an enlightened sacred existence on this wonderful home we call Earth. We can all show our kindness, respect and love for our Great Mother through the simplest of acts, such as, recycling, reusing, donating, reducing waste, protecting our environment and participating in whatever act we can that has Mother Nature's best interests at heart.
In this newsletter edition we have highlighted journeys which will help you form a stronger connection with Mother Earth and acquire a greater understanding and appreciation for our world and all of our global neighbours.
Like so many ancient wisdom traditions, the Maya teach us that a return to the rhythms and balance of nature is what will truly help bring about a more enlightened awareness and global consciousness. In these changing times leading to 2012, the Maya speak about the importance of recognizing and honouring the earth in order to sustain not only the life of the planet, but ourselves as well. These teachings will be shared with all our travellers through our visits to sacred sites and through ceremonies and lectures on our journey, Return to the Sacred Path of the Sun, November 28 - December 7, 2008. Please join us in learning this wisdom firsthand.
The Inca also express a great reverence for Pachamama (Mother Earth). In the Inca empire, a practice of tolerance, diversity and harmony with nature has been followed and taught for centuries. They, like the Maya, prophesied that this time leading to 2012 would be an integral time for reclaiming this global harmony and balance and achieving a higher awareness. We invite you to learn more of these insights and truths on our journey to Peru, Heart of the Pachamama, September 12 -23, 2008.
Our journey, Awaken the Spirit in Baja, December 7 - 14, 2008 is another fantastic opportunity for a group of women to come together in a beautiful setting and soothing environment to experience harmony, peace and transformation. By returning to natural simplicity, one can truly connect with the rhythms of the Earth and begin to rebalance the Self's own rhythms. Mexico - Maya Sacred Path to 2012 - Return to the Sacred Path of the Sun

 Journey with Maya Master Teacher Miguel Angel Vergara Calleros, Ph.D. and renowned spiritual teacher, Richard Jelusich, Ph.D., and Return to the Sacred Path of the Sun on our 2008 Maya Sacred Path to 2012 program.
This year, our focus is on the role of the sun, our sacred central star, and the cosmology of the Mayan understanding of the sun in the evolution of our consciousness.
Our journey will take us through the scenic and diverse regions of the Yucatán, Campeche, and Quintana Roo, visiting unique and ancient Maya sites along the way. We will venture off the beaten track to explore these less visited sites for private and peaceful ceremonies, and to work intimately with the energies of each site.
