Winter Solstice Greetings!
It's amazing how another year end is quickly approaching. Fortunately, for us at Sacred Earth Journeys, the year has been abundant, filled with many wonderful changes, exciting challenges, transformational journeys, and cherished new friendships. I know that on a cold and wintery day like today, where the hours of daylight are the least in the year, it can be difficult to remember all the good we have in our lives, so we think it's important to remind you of the light that shines in the world and encourage you to look ahead. Tomorrow, the days will begin to grow once more, and with that growth come new adventures to dive into, new experiences to encounter, new lessons to be learned. I hope you are as excited as we are!
If the dreariness and grey of winter, however, is just too much for you to bear and you long for some extra light and warmth to get you through, then we have some great journeys to offer you. Our fantastic yoga journey, Spirit of India - February 13 - 28, 2010 with Michele Labelle, will surely bring lots of sunshine into your life and soul. With its vibrant colours, intoxicating scents, and animated culture, India will truly captivate you. After visiting many of Southern India's most sacred spaces, revelling in the spectacular beauty of the the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, and floating lazily on a houseboat in Alleppey, we end our journey in the tropical paradise of Varkala. Here we will really get our bodies warmed up with more rejuvenating yoga, invigorating hikes, long strolls along sandy beaches, and optional ayurvedic treatments. Mexico - Maya Sacred Path to 2012 - Wisdom of the Ancient Maya Teachers

 Journey with us and learn the Wisdom of the Ancient Maya Teachers on our 2010 Maya Sacred Path to 2012 program. Throughout our journey we will connect with three ancient Maya teachers: Itzamná, the first teacher who brought wisdom to the land of the Maya, Kukulkán, the feathered serpent and master of love and wisdom, and IxCheel/Ix Mukane, who represents the Sacred Feminine, Mother Nature, and the Heart of the Earth. It is they who will help us to be reborn in the mystical land of the Maya. Combining our visits to the sacred sites with traditional Mayan ceremonies, we will be led by Miguel Angel Vergara Calleros who will share his informative teachings of the Maya Wisdom and Cosmology. While incorporating many fun activities that we have long come to associate with summer camp, including the opportunity to create deep, long-lasting friendships, there is also an invitation into the awareness of the depth and sacredness of the task of being a person of integrity and honour.
