Greetings!

We hope you are all having a fantastic summer so far and are taking the time to enjoy friends and family as well as this wonderful Earth we call home. Here at Sacred Earth Journeys we have been busy filling tours for 2008, working on our new 2009 lineup, and of course taking some time for ourselves as well to travel, relax and just "BE". We are also trying to live more in the "now" by focusing on the present, not procrastinating, and taking advantage of opportunities that bless us today, realizing they might not appear tomorrow. We believe it is important to live each day with grace and gratitude, to give as well as receive, and to show our loved ones how much we care as if this day were the last. And now on to some announcements which will inspire and remind you to act ASAP, lest life pass you by...

To those of you who were interested in our fantastic journey to Bhutan with photographer Jaime Kowal, Land of the Thunder Dragon: November 10 - 20, 2008 we are sorry to announce that flights into Paro for the tour dates are now SOLD OUT! We may be able to get availability on flights a few days prior to the journey and a few days after, but booking will now be on a special request basis only. Those who registered early for the journey should prepare themselves for a remarkable time. It is going to be a fantastic trip and we very much look forward to hearing about all the wonderful experiences and seeing all the phenomenal photo collections from everyone's portfolio upon your return!

This is the last chance to register for our Peru journey, Heart of the Pachamama: September 12 - 23, 2008. We do still have spaces left on the tour, but local flights are beginning to sell out. If you have been considering signing up for this transformational trip, please do not delay. Our small group will allow you to truly immerse yourself in the energy of Pachamama and allow you to make wonderful connections with our wonderful tour leader, Puma Quispe Singona, the other group members and Mother Earth.

We'd also like to announce a new journey which we have just added to our 2009 lineup: The Serpent of Light - Kukulkan Descends at Chichen Itza: March 20 - 29, 2009. This journey will take place during the Spring Equinox which will allow us to see the dramatic shadow display of the descent of Kukulkan as he slithers down El Castillo, the pyramid at Chichen Itza. As we travel through the ancient land of the Maya, we will be exploring the mystery of the Crystal Skulls with Stephen Mehler, author of The Crystal Skulls: Astonishing Portals to Man’s Past and participate in sacred Maya ceremonies and rituals with Maya Master Teacher, Miguel Angel Vergara. This journey is sure to sell out quickly so register early for this once in a lifetime opportunity!
