Happy Spring Equinox!

The season is certainly changing with the sweet succulent scent of Spring in the air. The trees are budding, the blossoms are blooming, and flowers are beginning to push through the earth to bask in the sunshine, reminding us to reach and strive for all that we desire. This is a time for new beginnings and rebirth, a time to dream new dreams, and to put plans into action during this most fertile and expansive period. With day and night being at equal lengths on the equinox, we can tune into the rhythms of nature and begin to create our own sacred balance and align our own masculine and feminine forces to connect us with out Great Mother Earth.

To help inspire you all to strive for this balance and sacred existence, we have included a few words below from our Return to Avalon Tour Leader, Karen Rae Wilson.

Join us on our journey, Return to Avalon - Re-igniting the Sacred Flame of Camelot, May 16 - 25, 2008, to travel with other kindred spirits on a unique pilgrimage to the great stones of England. This will be a very special journey as it includes a unique opportunity for a PRIVATE visit at Stonehenge for the Wesak Full Moon. We will have the site all to ourselves to celebrate the most powerful full moon of the year! We are sure this will prove to be a very memorable experience.

Another great way to tune into the balance of the earth and connect with Mother Nature is through our journey to Peru, Heart of the Pachamama - A Heart Opening Sacred Journey, September 12 - 23, 2008. Our wonderful Tour Leader, Puma Quispe Singona, recently made an appearance on the 4REAL television series which aired this month in Canada. We hope some of you were able to catch the episode. It will be airing globally on the National Geographic Channel in 166 languages and 33 countries in April and May, so we hope all our readers get a chance to learn a little bit more about Puma and his efforts. We're also including a link to an interesting article we stumbled upon about a recent discovery in Peru: Pre-Incan Temple Discovered in Peru. The article explains the discovery of an acient temple at the site of Sacsayhuaman which we will be visiting during our journey. Very interesting! If there are any other interesting articles YOU would like to share with us and our readers, please send them our way.

As we are currently planning our new journeys in 2009 we'd love to hear your thoughts and ideas. I am planning to bring my children (aged 10 & 7) to Peru on a Family Journey next summer and need 3 or 4 other familes to join me! The journey will be geared towards families with school-aged children. Our journey will be similar to our Heart of the Pachamama Journey For Children and Families in July of 2007. If you and your family would like to participate in a Sacred Family Journey to Peru, please let us know ASAP.
