Happy Spring to All!
Spring is always a wonderful time to start fresh and begin anew so wouldn't it be great to do that twice a year? Well now you can by joining us in Peru for our journey, Heart of the Pachamama - September 16 - 23, 2009! Celebrate Spring in the southern hemisphere and discover the wonderful traditions of the ancient Inca and the present day Andean people.
During this time of year, Peruvians perform sacred ceremonies and make offerings to honour Pachamama, Mother Earth, and the Apus, the nature spirits who reside in the mountains and lakes. Friends and families gather together for a despacho ceremony with gifts of coca leaves, tobacco, sweets, beans, rice, flowers and other offerings to show gratitude. The despacho ceremony is a very special and unique way of connecting with the energies and spirits of nature and with our Great Mother, Pachamama. They are also performed to express thanks and to manifest the things we would like to attract or create in our own lives and those of our loved ones. By making offerings to Pachamama we express love and gratitude for all her gifts and in turn we are able to manifest our dreams and call into our lives more of what we are grateful for. The gifts made in offering are laid out during the ceremony and then wrapped in a bundle and burned. As the smoke lifts to the heavens, Wayra, the Spirit of the Wind, carries the blessings and prayers to the highest divine creator.
Throughout our journey in Peru we will be led by Andean Medicine Man and Wisdom Keeper, Puma Quispe Singona, so that we too may gather in sacred ceremony to make our special offerings to our Great Mother, Pachamama. We will also have the opportunity to visit Puma's village of Chinchero to offer our help and contributions to the local community - a wonderful way to show thanks for Pachamama's kindness and give back to the people who have graciously welcomed us with open arms. During our extension to Lake Titicaca, Reflections of Mama Cocha - September 16 - 27, 2009 we will have the opportunity to experience a special purification ritual for the Spring Equinox at Mandor Falls, allowing us to cleanse ourselves of negative energies and begin anew.
So slip off your shoes, feel Mother Earth beneath you, reconnect with Pachamama, and give thanks for all her gifts. Let Spring inspire you to plant your own seeds of creation and join us and new found friends in honouring this great planet through heart-opening ceremonies, ancient rituals and special offerings. You too can manifest all that you desire by showing gratitude.

This year we travel through the beautiful states of Tabasco and Chiapas, welcomed by the Maya Teachers of Light who invite us to awaken the Maya Spirit within. Immersing ourselves in Mother Nature’s grandeur, we connect with the Divine Mother who has called us to once again perform her Sacred Rituals in harmony. At the Maya’s sacred ceremonial centres, we help open the spiritual gateways to all those who wish to return to the Mayan consciousness of love and wisdom. Mayan prophecies foretell that at the end of the Mayan Calendar, all humankind will return to the land of the Maya to understand the Great Maya Spirit which lies within all of us. Together we will awaken the Serpent of Wisdom within, linking us to the knowledge of the stars and the blessing forces of our Divine Mother, Ixchel, so that we may see the beauty of life and the sacredness of every being in the universe. Mexico - Centre of the Conscious Dream - Sacred Mexican Plants and the Crystalline Seed

The Centre of the Conscious Dream grew out of the Shamanic School of Dreaming, which was founded in 1995 in England by Daniel Stone. In 2000, work began on a physical centre in the state of San Luis Potosí, Mexico, on a site that is towards the end of the 300km ancient pilgrimage route called the “Huiricuta”. The centre is situated near a sacred mountain, which is, in many traditional myths, a place where the sun first rose. It is an extraordinary multi-dimensional field of energy, which drew or “called” him to build his centre here. In the April course we open to beings and energies of healing and transformation: breath, the four elements, plants, trees, rocks, crystal, colours, the planet earth, stars, and the universe. The focus is to learn how to channel the energies of different levels or vibrations that come from these sources. We are learning how to open the heart and keep the heart open in order to channel the unconditional love in the universe. We learn about the use of medicinal plants and open to these plants as teachers of consciousness. We will be working with the plants in a very practical way – learning to identify them, to make oils and creams, as well as work with them through the conscious breath and ceremony. We are looking for the origin, the root of the healing. The origin comes from various intents, and we bring together those intents in the seed of healing, the seed of the plant, of crystal, of the star – the seed of healing. We plant the seed in the sun, the stars, the air, in water, in earth, and also in movement, sound, vibrations, colour, magic, creativity and ceremony. The course is suitable for anyone on the path of self-healing and healing others; for those who are interested in going beyond techniques.
