Journeys Newsletter -
May/June, 2004 |
|
|
|
We have lots of exciting news to share this month! First, we
are very pleased to announce our partnership with one of the
leading Cultural and Adventure tour operators, Worldwide
Adventures. To this end, you will see two new sections on our
website India Cultural Tours
and Adventure Travel.
Be sure to explore all 19 new tour programs
including 9 cultural programs to India, and 10 active
adventures like Trekking in Nepal, Hiking
the Inca Trail in Peru, Cycling in Vietnam
& India, Trekking the Sinai Desert in
Egypt, and a Walking Safari & Kilimanjaro Trek
in Tanzania. We are also happy to announce our
collaboration with In2India Tours and be sure to check out
Journey to the Heart of Central India.
I am very thrilled to be joining our sacred journey to Peru
next month, Inca Mysteries & Magic, June 10-23. We
still have a few spaces left and I encourage anyone who has
been thinking about joining us to take the plunge and
contact us now to book. This is going to be an amazing journey
with traditional ceremonies at every sacred site,
private night entrance into Machu Picchu, and Winter
Solstice celebration at Lake Titicaca, fully escorted by
our expert tour leader Andrea Pinkham, and our Peruvian
Shaman guide Jorge Luis Delgado. Don’t miss this once a
year opportunity!
New to our Yoga Tours & Retreats
section is a wonderful Yoga in Cuba program with senior
yoga instructor Bernie Clark. The May Surf & Yoga Retreat
to Baja with Eoin Finn was so successful that another one
was immediately planned for the fall (Oct 31-Nov 7). We
already have January, 2005 dates planned for the Rediscover
Your Self in Bali Retreat, and we are taking bookings now
for the North and South India Yoga Journeys this
fall. Only a few spaces remain on the Yoga Intensive in the
Andes tour to Peru in July.
Our Sacred Journeys
programs are still at the heart of our tour offerings and we
have some amazing journeys coming up to Peru
(Jun & Aug), England & Scotland (Jul),
Egypt (Nov), and Sedona (Oct). 2005
dates are already scheduled for India and
Tibet. Be sure to register early to avoid
disappointment.
And finally, we have some very interesting
Featured Articles this
month including articles from anthropologist Martin Gray and
sacred travel writer Robert Scheer.

Namaste,

its mystic. Our program includes a week long journey from

her luscious embrace.
Our time together is spent in East Bali, in a lush river
valley of terraced rice fields in the midst of tree-clad
hills straddled by the imposing presence of the sacred
mountain, Gunung Agung. Nearby Sidemen is a small
weaving and farming village, still relatively untouched
by tourism, where the climate is always pleasantly warm. |
