| This
website is dedicated to
Helen's late father, Jack Pearl, who
took Helen, at the age of 12, on a life-changing adventure
to Peru. Looking back on it now, this was the beginning
of her life-long passion for travel to exotic, soul-stirring
places. |

After graduation from high school,
Helen pursued a career in the travel industry, and
since 1987 has worked for various tour companies and
travel wholesalers, designing, planning, costing,
promoting and advertising tours for a variety of international
and North American destinations. She has researched
and prepared customized tour itineraries for travel
agents, tour leaders, special interest groups and
individuals to many destinations in Asia, Africa Europe
& North America. |

Helen's personal travel experience
reflects her love of travel and from 1986 to present
she has travelled to many countries including India,
Nepal, Sri Lanka, the Maldive Islands, China, Tibet,
Pakistan, Malaysia, Europe & Japan. In 1995-96,
Helen and her husband Paul travelled for a whole year
through Africa including Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi,
Zimbabwe, Namibia and South Africa. Next she can't
wait to introduce her children to the wonderful world
of travel! |

has used her 15 years of travel industry experience
as well as her personal passion for travel to establish
Sacred Earth Journeys which attracts travellers interested
in personal growth, global awareness and a love of the
outdoors. |
