Traveling to India was an opening for my soul. It is a culture in which spirituality sits at its center and is the pulse of every place we visited. Coming from a culture where spiritual pursuits are relegated to the periphery, being in India was like drinking from a deep and nourishing well that replenished my thirsty soul. It was an experience that fundamentally broadened my perspective and developed my understanding of myself and our world.
Alexandra Shewchuk, Vancouver, B.C. (Spirit of India - Feb/10)

The Sacred Earth Journeys tour of South India far exceeded my expectations. I was inspired by the history of India, the devotion of it's people to their spirituality and the depth of love found in their eyes. One cannot help but grow from this experience.
Nadira Ramtahal, Corona, NY (Spirit of India - Feb/10)

Thank you Helen, Michele & Amandeep for making this first-timer's trip to India so magical and special. My heart opened, I got grounded...word's can't express how beautiful (on so many levels) it was to me. There were so many details that had to be taken care of, and I appreciate your vast efforts. Here's to North India in 2012!
Aleya Abdulla, North Vancouver, B.C. (Spirit of India - Feb/10)

When I arrived in Mexico... the earth was just a planet, the moon was just a rock satellite and the sun was just a burning ball of gas. By the time I left, I had a personal connection with “Ixchel” our Mayan mother earth, along with the bright sister moon and our heavenly warm father sun. The teachings of Miguel opened up the window to the 4 directions and the elements like I could never have imagined.

I knew it would be hard to top my experience of the 2008 tour but I had no idea just how much it actually could! Reconnecting with our teachers we shared our energy with the elements and I once again felt the beauty and the power of the land and the universe with my new and old friends!

The tour exceed my expectations in all areas and I felt safe in the company of Erik, Miguel & Richard, our trusty guides and my new found friends as I learned about the ways of the Mayans along our journey to some very special sacred sites. Words cannot describe the feeling of energy and connection to everything I felt as we explored the ruins after Miguel’s ceremonies.

I don’t think I can take a “regular” vacation ever again when one can experience such beauty and have such fun while enjoying the Mayan teachings under a warm welcoming sun. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wishes more out of their travel experiences as not only a wonderful vacation, but it could be transformational in ones own spiritual growth if they are open to it. I look forward to returning once again next year to reconnect with the energy of the elements along with old and new friends alike.

This land truly is a special place in our magical universe!
Sal Nocitra, Toronto, Ontario (Maya Sacred Path to 2012 - Dec/09)

The Maya Sacred Path to 2012 trip this year was, as always, amazing. It strengthened my body mind and spirit. I felt totally taken care of and could focus on being immersed in the experiences on the trip. Once again I was transformed to the point that It has taken me 3 weeks to really be able to even comment on how meaningful it continues to be in the way I live my life. Just thinking about it literally raises my spirit. It felt like home and family being with like minded people who were both fun and serious about their spiritual growth. We respected each other’s need for quiet time and space, but could also laugh and play and be childlike in our enjoyment of the events. As usual Helen paired me with another perfect roommate. Each year I wonder who it will be and move into trust as I remind myself of the wonderful women I have had the opportunity to get to know.

Traveling to Mexico with Sacred Earth Journeys is like an addiction for me. I wait for my spiritual “fix” and relive the trip for the rest of the year. Thanks Helen.
Dianne Harding, Vancouver, B.C. (Maya Sacred Path to 2012 - Dec/09)

If you are looking for a life transforming event the trip to Sacred Egypt will surely deliver. The knowledge so willingly shared with the group by Stephen Mehler has been passed down verbally in an unbroken lineage for thousands of years and will open your mind as well as your soul. I went into this trip with very high expectations and found each and every one of them to be exceeded in every sense by Sacred Earth Journeys. The camaraderie and combined spiritual knowledge of the tour group was overwhelming and I made many good friends along the way. We shouldn't forget the wonderful Awyan Family, who's hospitality, sacred knowledge and love of their beautiful country made the trip all the more magical.

Chris Bellucci, Plainfield, New Jersey (Journey to the Land of Ancient Wisdom - Oct/09)

No camera in the world could ever capture what your heart receives on a journey. You must experience it!

Helen Wong, Pasadena, CA (Maya Sacred Path to 2012 - Dec/09)

Remarkable for their great hearts and wide inclusive vision, our teachers sidestepped glamour for deep energetic insight and human sensitivity. Always open, accepting and humble in the face of these great ancestors, they led us into the mysteries where there are no easy answers, only portals to experience. We never stood in the presence of ancient power without their gentle wisdom to guide us. These were no mere piles of rocks we visited, but places to receive and share teachings, interpreted with loving patience by a true Mayan insider devoted to honouring their living presence.

Sandy Edwards, New York (Maya Sacred Path to 2012 - Dec/09)

Imagine being in the tropics while the rest of the planet is being blanketed by snow and temperatures are dropping by day below zero. Hammocks hang outside of hotel doors so that one can nap and listen to the birds that never stop singing. The howler monkeys howl all night long with a symphony of crickets to lull you to sleep. Driving into villages tucked 10,000 feet up that rarely see visitors was a treat. The scenery on the roads reminding me of the movie “King Kong” and the TV series “Lost”. Cows in the fields had white birds attending to their every need. The birds cleaned them and ate right along side of them. The churches were awesome with ages of prayer. There was a hint of Catholic practices, however, once inside you were transported to another time. Instead of pews the church floor is lined with grasses. Families come in, move the grass and proceed to light 20 to 30 slender long candles that they stick to the floor. Once the candles were placed on the tile floor and lit, the people rocked back and forth chanting a long and melodious chant that sounded Tibetan. Many of the churches were built over pyramids.

Dr. Richard Jelusich gave talks on the Cosmology of the Maya indicating that they were galactic in nature and not limited to the earth plane. Fascinating documentation of their knowledge of Astronomy was shared with the group. Miguel Angel Vergara performed ceremonies at every site asking permission for us to enter. He taught us how to honor the nature spirits that watch over the Maya lands. It was humbling to experience the respect the Maya had for their land and to pray for their ancestors. We were transported to another time. It was cultural shock when the trip was over and we had to pack and leave the magic of the Maya.
Linda Strom-Medvitz, Lakeside, CA (Maya Sacred Path to 2012 - Dec/09)

The Maya experience extended far beyond the simple value of visiting a few incredibly beautiful and interesting ruins (as a tourist, camera in hand). A deeply spiritual experience was opened to us, allowing us to see deeper into the sacred Mayan sites. Don Miguel Angel, an open hearted and experienced Shaman, (previously a Director at Chichen Itza) showed his educational abilities as an interpreter of Mayan glyphs and antiquities. Experiencing the sacred sites with rituals of respect and balance for history, nature, and one-ness – each of the sacred historical Mayan sites brought a great energy forward and our group bonded quickly. Each person found their own level of personal connection, and many were almost overwhelmed by the wonder of this year’s journey. I heard people planning with great enthusiasm, to be back again next year. I plan to be part of that group!
Janice Smylie, Ph.D., Calgary, Alberta (Maya Sacred Path to 2012 - Dec/09)

My first travels with Sacred Earth Journeys and it was an amazing one. Everything was so well organized and we learned so much. I’m really looking forward to the next trip.

Linda Lang, Luxembourg (Maya Sacred Path to 2012 - Dec/09)

Sacred Earth Journeys is providing a unique and exceptional service that I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone who is interested in having authentic, expansive and uplifting travel experiences. My journey with them to Peru provided me with a safe, like-minded and nurturing container in which to attain my spiritual intentions plus more.  It was a great way to travel alone as well. The people in my group were open-hearted and shared similar values which gave me an immediate sense of belonging and freedom to be who I am. Thank you Helen, Puma and Jorge for such an incredible and life-affirming experience.

Alexandra Shewchuk, Vancouver, B.C. (Heart of the Pachamama - Sep/09)

As a repeat client of Sacred Earth Journeys, I was looking forward to the worry free experience and expertise that the company has to offer on its adventures to various sacred sites and countries. Travelling to Egypt with them was no exception. Not only did the sites and experiences captivate, but it was so reassuring to know that all my needs would be met and we would be cared for and guided by a team of experts. From before the departure, with all the tips and planning from the head office, to the seamless service starting with my arrival in Cairo, everything unfolded in a magical adventure with little effort on my part. I was able to relax, let the little details be looked after and absorb myself in the sites and sounds of Egypt.

Adding to the total experience was the comfort of the luxurious hotels we stayed in as well as the fine cuisine that was served. It was also a pleasure to get to know the other international guests who were sharing the experience with me. We had so much in common besides our interest in Egypt. I learned so much from them and their life experiences as well. The guides were first class all the way. Their combined wisdom and organizational skills made sure that all the sites were explained, and questions were answered, and then there were the opportunities for some lectures after touring for additional details. The other factor that I really appreciated was the peace of mind in traveling with a group and the fact that I felt safe and looked after. It can be intimidating sometimes in a country like Egypt on your own.

I would recommend Sacred Earth Journeys to anyone who wanted a vacation to sacred sites with the quality I have experienced with this company both to Egypt and to Peru. I have checked out similar companies that are also offering trips that combine the inward and outward journeys that many are seeking these days, but have found that Sacred Earth Journeys offers the best product at the best price as well. The value of the overall experience is hard to beat!
Kathy Holme, West Vancouver, B.C. (Egypt - Journey to the Land of Ancient Wisdom - Oct/09)

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience of Egypt with the co-ordination and travel plans organized by others to fully appreciate the country, people and sites, and the company of a group of like minded people. I made many new friends as well as coming away with a new outlook on life after experiencing the cultural energies of a past era which one can still see and sense.
Brett Treacy, Australia (Egypt - Journey to the Land of Ancient Wisdom - Oct/09)

This trip has been an amazing journey and adventure for me. I grew a lot spiritually and intellectually. Our guides, Stephen and Vivian were very knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable. In addition, the group was wonderful and we built up great camaraderie over the 2 weeks. I have a feeling that I will return to Egypt one day, and I also look forward to other trips with Sacred Earth Journeys.
Yee-Fun Lim, Ithaca, NY (Egypt - Journey to the Land of Ancient Wisdom - Oct/09)

The trip to Peru left an imprint on my soul . I returned a different person. My experience in Peru was like visiting another dimension. That experience of another dimension was given life by the sacredness of the areas we visited. Our guide - just being in his presence was a sacred gift, his energy was like a ray of sunshine, and within him he carried a wealth of wisdom well delivered. Our group - it was a family reunion, we truly were family. Though, physically far apart we will always be family, after our experience together in Peru. It was really hard returning to the world, we call our reality. Whenever I feel like I am loosing my balance in this reality, in my mind, I return to my Peru experience, that place of wholeness and balance. Just last night I had a dream that included my Peru family. In the dream, we were tracking through a forested area, when we decided that we were hungry. At the end of the forest was an Old Country Buffet, which is a generic buffet in the US, but when we entered, it was an elegant place with the finest of food. The table was already set for the ten of us. The experience in Peru was not just a trip; it was a journey of the soul and a pilgrimage that enlightened the spirit.

Gloria Gates, Everett, WA (Heart of the Pachamama - Sep/09)

This trip surpassed every expectation. It was a rich, textured experience. Thank you Helen/SEJ for your excellent job in laying the groundwork for this wonderful mind, heart and soul expanding-adventure.
Linda Harris, Vancouver, B.C. (Heart of the Pachamama - Sep/09)

After drooling over the various itineraries for months on the web site for Sacred Earth Journeys, I decided to take the plunge and book the trip to Peru. There were so many books that were talking about Peru and how the Earth's kundalini energy is there now, as well as the mystery and power of Lake Titicaca, that I felt this urgency to go. Friends had asked me if I was nervous about going alone in a group where I didn't know anyone, but I couldn't wait to be amongst a group of people who shared the same passion for the books and ideas that I was interested in. I was looking forward to making these connections as much as experiencing the physical sites we would visit. My expectations were exceeded on all counts! We had the best guides, Puma in The Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu and Jorge Luis Delgado in Lake Titicaca. I felt very privileged to have gone to Puma's family home in Chinchero and to enjoy Jorge's hospitality in his hotel in Lake Titicaca. They were both outstanding in their knowledge and their deep connection to others and to the planet. The sites, experiences and relationships formed will stay with me forever. A big thank you also to Helen for creating all of this for us to enjoy and also to her partners in Peru for making it so seamless! I loved it SO much that I am now taking a Sacred Earth Journeys trip to Egypt!"
Kathy Holme, Vancouver, B.C. (Heart of the Pachamama - Sep/09)

The Heart of the Pachamama journey to Peru with Sacred Earth Journeys was life changing for me.  I started this trip with the intention of discovering who I AM; and, by the end of the journey, I no longer felt confused about what I seem to be with who I really AM.  Knowing who I AM, I still  my mind, greet my courage and seed myself in faith.  I am no longer burdened by my fears and have divorced myself from my past and the future.  The consciousness that brought my spirit here is the consciousness that will guide me safely through my life.  My path is illuminated by Divine Light and I take each step forward with faith and love.  I dispel the limits and inhibitions of the past, and I intend to live each day from this moment on elevating my consciousness and being lifted into the future of myself.  I can indeed count my blessing to have been able to reconnect with my Soul Family and our wonderful guide, Puma.

Martha Robles, Airmont, NY (Heart of the Pachamama - Sep/09)

This journey for me, was like the passing through of a magic door. In most cases, one does not see a magic door, even as you are passing through. But once you are on the other side, you feel different...or you come closer to who you are.
To travel with like-minded souls. To open my heart to and to awaken along-side of them, was truly the most sacred of gifts. The landscapes, sacred sites, and the most beautiful and expansive tour guides, made this journey exceptional.
I am forever in your gratitude, Helen. For making this moment in my life possible. I will hold it forever in my heart, and look forward to endeavouring on many more with your outstanding company.
Fiona Moger, Mentone, Australia (Heart of the Pachamama - Sep/09)

I have traveled to Rome and thought it was the best trip of my life. However, after going to Peru my feelings are way over and above the Rome trip. I have noticed the change within me. I have gained so much knowledge about Mother Nature and the ancient Inca people. Today is the best day of my life past and present - a quote from Puma who stated this to us every morning. Again, I will never forget what a journey this was. I recommend this journey to everyone. My spiritual journey was something I will never forget and always remember. So rich in spirit and nature that you will feel different. Today I have tears in my eyes as I think of the journey in my life and I am forever grateful. Puma was excellent in wisdom and sprit. He is a very old soul.
Daisy Rubio, Lakewood, NJ (Heart of the Pachamama - Sep/09)

What a fabulous experience. Truly life changing. One thing that I was not expecting were the friendships and deep connections that I would make with the other travelers. We were all very much on the same path and some of us made bonds that will truly last a lifetime. Another thing I was not expecting was the amount of emotional clearing that would take place. Even though I knew this was a spiritual journey, I didn't realize the depth of the "process" that we would be experiencing. I highly recommend this type of trip for anyone who is on a similar path.
Rose-Anne Kumpunen, Toronto, Ontario (Heart of the Pachamama - Sep/09)

My experience with the Intuitive Shamanic Training Course was wonderful and very rewarding.  I faced many challenges which offered an abundance of personal and spiritual growth and I gained much wisdom from all the insightful teachers we were privileged to encounter.  I also met an amazing group of people with whom I shared laughter and tears, joy and pain.  It was all an amazing experience and one which I am very grateful for.

Daniela Masaro, Toronto, Ontario (Mexico - Centre of the Conscious Dream - Nov/08)

I have traveled, in the past, with Sacred Earth Journeys to Peru and Egypt and both times returned a different person.  Well, it's happened yet again.  The trip to Mexico at Daniel and Arbolita's centre was quite profound for me as it really helped me to reconnect with the earth and, ultimately, with parts of me that I had neglected or forgotten.  The simplicity and peace of what is offered is not to be missed and was exactly what I needed.  Thanks Helen for offering such unique experiences that I, otherwise, might not find on my own.

Tara Alain, Squamish, B.C. (Mexico - Centre of the Conscious Dream - Apr/09)

I am very pleased that I went on this journey. It was perfect for me! Thank you!! I liked it all, the food, the teachers, the accommodation. I especially liked the camping and being in one place for longer. I found the group perfect! I learned lots of things in practise, stuff I only read in books, for me that was the most important  part. I would consider going on another trip with Sacred Earth Journeys.
Christel Vissers, The Netherlands (Centre of the Conscious Dream - Apr/09)

Everything was above and beyond excellent. Lauri was very patient and thorough explaining the positions and their various names. She always helped us with the proper positioning, so we wouldn't hurt ourselves. The combination of positions were also planned to counter balance the kayaking movements. What better introduction to yoga than on a beach in Costa Rica could there be? Although I have kayaked before, Bruce was able to improve my stroke, as well as introducing safety measures and precautions for kayaking on the ocean. He made every trip out an adventure, whether looking for wildlife, keeping an eye on the ocean or just navigating the currents. The pace was natural and relaxed. I would have to say that the combination of kayak/yoga/camping was absolutely perfect. There is something spiritual in all of them and together is a powerful combination. I would do this trip again in a heart beat and it happened on pure whim. The leap of faith I put in Sacred Earth Journeys did not disappoint.
Wendy Crowley, Lakefield, ON (El Espiritu del Mar - Mar/09)

A vacation of a lifetime!  Every moment was a blissful experience of Bhutan.  The journey healed my heart and cleared my mind.  I am currently content as a result of my Bhutan experience and am changed forever.  I could not have imagined a better Bhutan experience.  Jaime and Pema were brilliant guides and our itinerary was perfectly planned to maximize our 10 day journey.

Kristi Birnie, North Vancouver, BC (Bhutan - Land of the Thunder Dragon - Nov/08)

My trip to Bhutan was truly a wonderful experience.  The country is so unique, beautiful and unspoiled, and its people are so welcoming, that it would be hard not to be cast under its spell. Pema, our delightful local guide, made sure that any inconveniences were minimized or became part of the adventure. His pride in his country and his desire to have us know its beauty and charm was inspiring. Jaime, our intrepid photographer, was knowledgeable and positive and insightful in all her feedback. Sacred Earth Journeys were excellent in helping prepare for the trip. I would definitely consider future trips with them.
Christine Hoyer, Victoria, BC (Bhutan - Land of the Thunder Dragon - Nov/08)

Stellar!  I arrived in Merida 2 days early expecting to find my own way to the hotel and there was Trudy's welcoming lovely face waiting with a hug.  The feeling of being wrapped in love and light knowing that all was taken care of continued right through to the end of the trip.  It allowed me to focus fully on every heart-expanding experience of connecting with the ancient Maya.  I loved learning about the cosmos as they knew it, knowing how accurate they were to today's scientific knowledge.  The ceremonies opened my intuition and were healing and inspiring, moving me along my sacred path.  I am now able to draw from their energy in my daily life.  The accommodation was lovely, the time to explore the towns and cities fun and enlightening, and the transpiration very comfortable.  The universe also handed me a golden opportunity to attend the Maya Cosmic University when I was there.  I learned so much and in fact one piece of information I'd been searching for, to enhance my own healing practice, came up during the classes.  I can hardly wait for the trip in 2009.  Thank you Helen, Daniela, Erik, Trudy, Richard and Miguel Angel for an indescribable experience!

Dianne Harding, Port Moody, BC (Maya Sacred Path to 2012 - Dec/08)

My first impression was that here was a company that really cared what they offered and I wanted the journey that I selected to be a very personal experience. From my initial enquiry, through all the various stages of my Sacred Journey, I can only say how much I appreciated the excellent service provided. Money can buy many things, but the gift of true companionship of like souls is one I received freely. The memories of my journey will last. Thank you.
Christine Marsh, England (Maya Sacred Path to 2012 - Dec/08)

If you are looking for a no-brainer week in the Yucatan this is not the trip for you. It is an experience beyond description that could change your goals, the way you see life and put you on a path to spiritual renewal. You can come away with a sense of healing, knowledge and desire to share what you have learned from such gifted spiritual healers. Miguel Angel has an incredible loving Heart combined with Richard's knowledge of how today's science verifies the Mayan beliefs about astronomy. It is a blissful experience not to be missed.
Cindy Wead, Prescott Valley, Arizona (Maya Sacred Path to 2012 - Dec/08)

I found Sacred Earth Journeys' trip to Bhutan, The Land of the Thunder Dragon, to be wonderfully planned out. It was a very spiritual trip for my son and myself with the Bhutanese tour guide really going the extra mile all the time. It is a wonderful country to visit.
Heather Specken, Vernon, BC (Bhutan - Land of the Thunder Dragon - Nov/08)

A soul searching and soul nurturing spiritual journey with all material needs cared for so I could just be, without worry. Each step of the journey was well planned and executed. Well done!
Sharonfaith Horton, La Mesa, CA (Maya Sacred Path to 2012 - Dec/08)

As far as Sacred Earth Journey's goes, I could not have been more pleased. The accommodation in Cairo was superb. I have never experienced such luxury. The Arabian decor was fabulous, the staff very helpful. The location couldn't have been better. The service provided for pickup and delivery at the airports was great. I felt so safe and cared for. The guides were friendly and very knowledgeable. The cruise was fabulous. Our ship was one of the better ones, with excellent service. Everything went very smoothly with no major glitches. I would highly recommend Sacred Earth Journeys.

Egypt is an experience almost beyond description. Anyone who goes should be prepared to undergo a spiritual transformation. The energy of Egypt is still with me in my heart and will forever be. Never have I encountered such friendly and happy people. The whole journey was awesome.
Donalie Caldwell, Kelowna BC (A Multidimensional Journey through Egypt - Oct/08)

Sacred Earth Journeys did an outstanding job of organizing my trip to Egypt. The hotel was first class; having a view of the Great Pyramid an added bonus. Ivan, Mohmed and Gouda generously shared their knowledge and wisdom with us. An unforgettable cruise down the Nile. Ivan's workshop helped me so much on my spiritual journey. Thank you to Helen and Daniela for all the hard work.
Joy Burrows, Salmon Arm, BC (A Multidimensional Journey through Egypt - Oct/08)

My trip to Bhutan was a real life-changing experience. I have never been to a country where the people are so warm, happy and friendly, and there really is a lot to be said for the country's Gross National Happiness policy. Our local Bhutanese guide, Pema Tash was second to none; our driver Lolte was most thoughtful and helpful. And our tour leader, Jaime Kowal, helped me advance my photographic knowledge in leaps and bounds. I'll be back to Bhutan again in a heartbeat without any hesitation. Thank you once again for the wonderful opportunity and experience.
Teresa Hwang, Vernon, BC (Bhutan - Land of the Thunder Dragon - Nov/08)

Many thanks for organizing such an amazing trip to Bhutan. It was perfect from the beginning to the end. The group was great, the visits fascinating, the tour guide could not have been more helpful, the photo course from Jaime Kowal as well as the various lectures you arranged with guest speakers were definitely an added value to this fantastic trip. I would definitely recommend Sacred Earth Journeys to my friends! Many thanks again.
Ghislaine Grasser, Geneva, Switzerland (Bhutan - Land of the Thunder Dragon - Nov/08)

Thank you Sacred Earth Journeys for putting together such a sensational team for our Egypt tour. A generous host, a competent and knowledgeable tour guide and an amazing spiritual leader. It was a bonus that as well as participating in the wonderful workshops, meditations and personal healing sessions, we had the pleasure of Ivan Rados’ company for the whole of the journey.

I had not traveled on an organized tour with people I did not know and you could not have picked a nicer group of people to travel with. It is hard to believe we fit so much into 10 days. The spiritual healing aspect , the awesome temples and tombs and the adventures cruising the Nile River. It truly was a multidimensional journey and I am grateful for this experience.
Jan Gorman, Eastwood, NSW, Australia (A Multidimensional Journey through Egypt - Oct/08)

For me it truly was a spiritual journey.... the things we saw were very inspirational...the whole trip...along with Ivan's meditations and the light shed upon it... just great!
Olga Duduletz, Port Moody, B.C. (A Multidimensional Journey through Egypt - Oct/08)

This was a great spiritual experience. The atmosphere created by Ivan and Gouda was rich, deep and powerful. Ivan is a very generous person and shared himself with each of us. The relatively small size of the group made it possible for us to feel that we were very important.
Much appreciation for the opportunity to put a meaningful dimension on our quality travels.
Barry & Helen Thomas, Qualicum Beach, B.C. (A Multidimensional Journey through Egypt - Oct/08)

The trip was fantastic in every way, and each day just got better and better. I went with no fixed expectations so every moment and experience was a bonus. The people are what make the trip special and this group was truly special - we all got on so well and had a lot of fun.  I am sure most of us will keep in touch for a long time to come. Ivan was a blessed gift in every way, Mohammed was so patient and knowledgeable, and Gouda was a perfect host and most generous with the use of his home. The Oberoi was the perfect hotel to stay in as most others we saw travelling around did not have the same appeal or the location. The food was varied and fresh. All the sacred sites, temples, pyramids and ports of call were so interesting. I needed to buy all the relevant info books on them so I would be able to refer to them in the future - there was so much to take in! In conclusion, the whole trip could really not have been any better. Thank you Sacred Earth Journeys, Ivan and Gouda! I would not hesitate to go on another Sacred Earth Journey.
Bronwyn Kelly, Sydney, Australia (A Multidimensional Journey through Egypt - Oct/08)

This “trip of a lifetime” was just that. It is impossible to explain how incredibly moving it is to actually stand inside the Great Pyramid and walk in the footsteps of so much history. The best great part of it of course was that I didn’t have to worry about anything - Sacred Earth Journeys had prepared the way and all I had to do was get on the plane. To have all the details taken care of ahead of time made it so much easier to concentrate on the spiritual and historical aspects of the journey. I was able to take in all the wonders and the experiences without worrying about transportation, access to the sites or which hotel would be best or is it safe to do this or that. Our tour leader Ivan Rados is a wonderful human being whose knowledge and previous experience in Egypt provided us with an incredible itinerary. His workshop was a perfect compliment to the journey and was really helpful in allowing me to process everything that I was seeing and feeling. Thank you to Helen and Daniela for all their hard work and commitment to making this journey so memorable.
Beth Martlew, www.soulcollective.ca, Vancouver, BC (A Multidimensional Journey through Egypt - Oct/08)

Life and the participation in Living occurs only once! Once your whole life long! It is up to each individual to seek out and experience Living at such an intensity that the vibration of the Soul equals the vibration of the Universe…the Cosmos! With this trip to Peru, I was a witness and a participant in the Vibration of Ancient Wisdom that has forever changed my perspective of Life and has changed the course of my Living. I feel more alive and ‘in sync’ with the Cosmos, God, and the Higher Self, than I have ever been aware before. It is a rare and wonderful privilege to walk where the Ancients walked, taught, and lived. Walked with the Ancients as they walked and lived their choices. One can feel wisdom seep into every pore and meld into every thought though the experience of being where the past and the present make history! As Puma said, “One must know their past in order to know where their future lies!” How wise, how insightful, how true! At Machu Picchu….I was physically standing on the precipice of solid rock while looking into deep ravines, without the security of ropes or rails, and through meditation and silence, I was standing on the precipice of my Power, without the doubts and limitations of frail human beliefs! All the shackles of ‘man made’ fears gone….only the whispers of the Ancient Teachers can be heard.

To walk in the footsteps of those with such wisdom and understanding and the knowledge of what it means to live, is an honor and a privilege….and I will aspire to walk where my history guides me into the future.

Thank you for providing such a deep opportunity for such a rich lesson.

Collista Zook, Vancouver, WA (Heart of the Pachamama - Sep/08)

The ceremonies by Puma were very heart-centered and positive. The visit to the ancient Aramu Muru doorway is not to be missed if you have a chance to go to Lake Titicaca. This is an ancient real Stargate with many stories and myths surrounding it. You may get some insights after meditating there. Who knows? Maybe you'll disappear into another dimension...
Tanoyo Tanoko, Vancouver, BC ( Heart of the Pachamama - Sep/08)

We had a wonderful time in India. It is certainly a land of contradictions, amazing colours, exciting history and beautiful people. Everyone was so friendly and our country could take a lesson in customer service. We could never have navigated without our guides and drivers. The whole tour was well-orchestrated. We could not believe how many different people were involved in making our tour a success. Each person handed us off to the next so smoothly. We always felt safe and well taken care of. Although all of our guides were very good, I would specifically like to mention two, Swati in Jaipur and Arvind in Delhi. They were so knowledgeable and interesting, and went above and beyond for us. Thank you to you for arranging this magnificent tour for us. We enjoyed every minute and we realize just how fortunate we are.

My week during the Return to Avalon journey was a great experience for me. The holy ground, the companionship with these wonderful women, and especially Karen Rae and Jennie's heart opening leadership, helped me to connect with my fairy being as well as with my female power and connection with mother earth in her holy spirit, in which I totally felt included and safe. I found new friends from all over the world, and got perspectives and inspiration to further my healing and transformation to live my life with even more happiness and abundance. I got more trust into my own leadership qualities and potential to do healing work all over the world. I hope many people will take advantage of this chance to evolve and enlarge their own personal growth.
Heike Herrmann, Germany (Return to Avalon - May/08)

This Journey was the most sublime, magically powerful experience of personal Healing and Universal prayers for peace; which of course vibrate magnificently during these potent times of critical shift for our planet. Thank you Sacred Earth Journeys for your vision, creativity, choice of leaders, and professional top of the line service... Onward! With gratitude, I encourage anyone drawn to this particular sacred journey, the heart chakra of the Earth, to not hesitate because of any mundane considerations, but to choose to build the energy at Stonehenge and bathe in the profound magic of the moment - a portal to the past, present and future - in the highest light of consciousness and intention. Peace....
Jane Fryer, Washington D.C. (Return to Avalon - May/08)

My experience of India opened my heart wider to joy than I believed possible.  Sacred Earth Journeys did a wonderful job of linking a passionate, imaginative, and fun-loving yoga teacher with a spiritually-knowledgeable Indian tour guide and healer, who together provided a deep and informative experience of Northern India.

Laura Gibson, North Vancouver, BC (Spirit of India - Mar/08)

An unforgettable experience enriched by the care and competency of the tour company, tour guide and our spirited yoga instructor.

Yvonne de la Roche, Vancouver, BC (Spirit of India - Mar/08)

Very simple company to book a planned tour with!  I felt very safe, and having the tour planned was especially nice because it took away the stress of travelling.  I would recommend Sacred Earth Journeys to anyone that is interested in travelling.  Thank you for the great experience!  See you on another trip soon!

Danielle Hurst, Richmond, BC (Spirit of India - Mar/08)

It was an amazing trip with wonderful leaders and wonderful co-travelers. My ever grateful thanks to Michele and Karampal for the tremendous, thoughtful job they did.

Siona Windsor, Mercer Island, WA ( Spirit of India - Mar/08)

Very good and attentive service from Sacred Earth Journeys and Michele as a Tour Leader.  The quality of travel arrangements were very good and the services of Sacred Earth Journeys' operator in India were excellent.

Christine Holmes, Saint-Lambert, QC (Spirit of India - Mar/08)

Sacred Earth Journeys offers a variety of very meaningful and interesting trip destinations.  I found it especially rewarding sharing India with 18 other new acquaintances from various locations in North America and New Zealand.  Not having concerns about trip planning made the tour very pleasant.
Kathleen Murphy and Dale Moore, Parksville, BC (Spirit of India - Mar/08)

Every day was full of surprises, a gift, and a new way to look at life!
Megan Kleisinger, Abbotsford, BC (Spirit of India - Mar/08)

The Spirit of India Tour was an amazing experience. I really enjoyed discovering and exploring the colours, sights, energy and culture of India. Our guide provided us with a sense of security and confidence while sharing his vast knowledge of a wide range of topics relating to our tour. I have always traveled on my own – not on a tour – and appreciated how smoothly the logistics were handled. It was evident how extensive the preparations and planning that Sacred Earth Journeys must have undertaken in order for our journey through India to be so seamless.
Lee Ann Baxter, Vancouver, BC (Spirit of India - Mar/08)

The Spirit of India was a life journey that brought together the perfect elements to create a life changing experience: the cultural experience of India, a spiritual tie, yoga practice in a phenomenal setting, and the inspirational members of the group. You won’t find a trip like this offered anywhere else!
Alejandra Jimenez, Glendale, CA (Spirit of India - Mar/08)

I can’t say enough about the beauty of my kayaking trip to Baja and I just want to thank Daniela and Sacred Earth Journeys for helping to make it possible. I had a very personal reason for wanting to go on a peaceful, spiritual journey on the week before my birthday and this was the perfect experience – the company, the food, the guides, the landscape and the sealife – just an absolutely wonderful trip. I can’t wait to go back!
Christine Schattenkirk (Sea Kayaking in the Baja - Mar/08)

I had no expectations of the journey with the group.  It was a magical journey and far exceeded any thoughts of what could or would happen on the way. I have traveled the globe and found this particular journey to be one of the most significant experiences of my life.

Carmen Everall, Vancouver, BC (Shamanic Journey to Palenque - Feb/08)

In our lives, we are conditioned to judge "good" and bad", "acceptable" and "unacceptable".  What I realized from this trip was that Earth Mother and Father Sun accept us just the way we are.  The energy of these places was strong and yet nurturing and welcoming us.  I came back home transformed.  I realize that it is really up to ourselves to integrate the polarities that we perceive in our lives.  When we break down external barriers and start looking at other people the same way, we feel we are ONE with them.  In Lak'ech (I am Another You), A Lak'en (You are Another Me).

Tanoyo Tanoko, Vancouver, BC (Shamanic Journey to Palenque - Feb/08)

I have traveled from Australia twice to experience two different amazing Mayan, Sacred Earth Journeys. Both were more and less challenging than expected; completely different from each other, but equally inspiring. It has been wonderful to travel with such an enlightened/professional tour company and group of individuals who allow and support each other’s magical adventures to unfold. It wouldn’t have been possible to experience so much, in such a short time, without their support. I am extremely grateful for the ‘true’ Mayan history and wisdom from our much-loved leaders and the sacred sites themselves. As we approach the year 2012 – the end of time, according to the Mayan Calendar, it is imperative we become conscious of who we are and our place in the universe. Thank you for being of service.
Karen Stuart, Australia (Maya Sacred Path to 2012 – Dec/07)

The Sacred Earth Journey - Flight of the Stellar Serpent - was very real and fully opened my awareness to how much beauty there is in Mayan history, temple glyphs and the jungle landscape. Miguel’s Ceremonies, as we entered every temple ground, were a perfect example of the way to respect the Sacred Earth and feel part of the greater whole. Thank you Helen, Trudy, Erik, Miguel and Richard for leading us so humbly and with such expertise!
Serah Roer, Tappen, BC (Maya Sacred Path to 2012 – Dec/07)

This is my second Maya Tour with you and I just want you to know that once again you delivered in terms of physical challenge, spiritual experiences and overall fun. It was delightful to explore the ruins in Chiapas and Tabasco, Mexico and in Tikal, Guatemala. Being in the dense rainforest with monkeys, possums, birds of all kinds, butterflies was up-lifting and life affirming. All this created a space for my own personal journey which I appreciate beyond words. Thanks for the wonderful adventure.
Maureen F. Balaam, Monterey, CA (Maya Sacred Path to 2012 – Dec/07)

This was truly a Sacred Journey and the path traveled with Miguel Angel and Richard opened my mind, heart and soul to the Mayan initiatory process. Now my goal is to walk imbued with this feathered stellar serpent energy through every day life. I look forward to more sacred journeys to the lands of the Mayans.
Tyhson Banighen, Tappen, BC (Maya Sacred Path to 2012 – Dec/07)

What a privilege to explore and travel through the magical Mayan sites in Mexico and Guatemala. I found the Mayan journey fascinating, and inspiring, leaving much to ponder and digest. The leaders Miguel Angel, Richard, Erik, and Trudy complimented each other so well, letting us feel well cared for, while retaining individual time for our own experiences to emerge. The group energy was very supportive and I made many new friends in the short time we spent together. The beauty and wisdom of the land, rainforest jungles, pyramids and people is something we should have the honour of experiencing. The Mayan Calendar is now a part of my vocabulary and I look forward to a continued understanding of its wisdom.

Helen is so skillful in manifesting her visions, and has created yet another amazing sacred journey that comes from the heart. Helen and her team take care of all the details, so we can sit back and enjoy the ride! In Lak’ech!
Susan Rogers, Vancouver, BC (Maya Sacred Path to 2012 – Dec/07)

Maya Sacred Path to 2012 – Flight of the Stellar Serpent, a multi-levelled journey encompassing a myriad of experiences and expressions unique to each individual. The physical locale of Mexico and Guatemala offering a glimpse of the Mayan existence heightened by teaching brought forward to our present day in which we participate. The spiritual component integrated at each site visited lending to personal growth and development, clearing and renewal. Forever changed. A wonderful group of individual traveling together in harmony, peace, unconditional love, happiness and joy!
Barbary Lynn, Richmond, BC (Maya Sacred Path to 2012 – Dec/07)

This was my first “Spiritual Journey” but second tour. The camaraderie of the participants on this trip greatly exceeded my “regular” tour. As a solo traveler, I really appreciated that aspect.
Joanne Bryla, China Grove, NC (Maya Sacred Path to 2012 – Dec/07)

Transformational, joyful, humbling, trip of a lifetime. The efforts of Helen, Trudy, Richard, Miguel & Erik were inspiring. Who would have thought tramping through the jungle where you had to stay on the path or get poisoned, bitten or lost would have been so exciting. Visiting temples long abandoned, seeing treasures beyond the imagination of the Olmec traditions, experiencing meditations out of this world, literally, landing pads, mosquito netting, hammocks in the rough, toning in temple chambers that raised the kundalini, exquisite wall art in the Mayan pyramid chambers, praying to the Maya mother of all time, and holding a crystal skull facing the sun. What can I say? The trip was like no other. Bussing, boating with alligators sunning themselves on the river banks, crystal clear streams and exquisite water falls while the sun sets on tree lined roads, created an atmosphere of remembering, going back to the beginning of time. Being transported to the past cultures of the Maya made us all realize we lived this life before among the lush lands in Palenque, Tikal in Guatemala, with Alantian influences, art, engineering, ceremonies and architecture. Need I say more? Trip of a life time!!!
Linda Strom-Medvitz, Lakeside, CA (Maya Sacred Path to 2012 – Dec/07)

This could be the experience of a lifetime. It may challenge, transform, nourish, even overwhelm, but it is always worth it!
Yvonne Plankey, Calgary, AB (Maya Sacred Path to 2012 – Dec/07)

As I was traveling from Scotland on my own I was slightly apprehensive as I didn't know what to expect. When I reached my final destination in Merida - Mexico I was instantly overwhelmed by how welcoming and attentive the place, people and energy felt. It was quite magical!!! The natural vibration of Mexico was comforting and harmonious (a stark contrast to my experience at 'Houston Airport' - it was like leaving the darkness and reaching the light). Ironic concept in itself as we evolve towards 2012!?

Now that I think about the journey and my own personal experience, it was like one long spiritual and conscious 'trip' where everything just fell into place and made complete sense. It offered a oneness of mutual love, respect, understanding and balance between me, my fellow trippers and the universe on a micro to macro level. Everything had a purpose and was recognized and respected for that, it was 'Cosmic'. My thoughts were crystalized resulting in my own mind’s power and energy cleansing and aligning my own soul. Is that 'Maya' or the 'Crystal' Conscience? Not sure? But I know I have changed, I can feel it, there has been a shift in me as I've reconnected with myself and source and feel clarity and calmness.

I had a fantastic experience in Mexico and one I will cherish for the rest of my life. It was very personal to me that I gained firsthand insight, knowledge, understanding and wisdom of 'Mother Earth' the 'Universe', the 'Maya' and the 'Shamans'. So I'd like to thank everyone involved at Sacred Earth Journeys for introducing me to wonderful people and creating and providing that opportunity for me.

Some say 1 day in a Sacred Site is the equivalent of 1000 sessions of meditation and I've discovered that that's very, very true...
Amanda Turner, Scotland (Maya Sacred Path to 2012 - Nov/07)

This trip exceeded my expectations by far. I learned so much from Andrea, Stephen, Vivian and the others, and the meditations at the sacred sites were very powerful and transformative. I feel so excited about the trip that I know I will go back to Egypt soon.
Taryn Swiatek, White Rock, British Columbia  (Egypt: Sacred Temples & Ancient Illumination - Nov/07)

Great trip, excellent organization. Beyond expectations. Trudy, Erik, and Miguel Angel worked wonderfully to make this a fabulous trip. Loved it. Highly recommend it. This is my second trip with Sacred Earth Journeys. Both excellent experiences. AAAAA+++++"

The trip to Egypt was amazing in every way – and beyond our expectations. Never have we been cared for with so much respect and attention to every detail. Everything was done to maximize the spiritual component of the program, by ensuring that all the logistical details were smooth. The tour leaders were exceptional in their knowledge and willingness to engage and support every member of the group. They treated us like “family”. The trip was exceptionally organized with all physical, material, emotional, and safety needs being fully met so that the group members could focus on the spiritual component of the journey. We also had ample opportunities to learn about current Egyptian culture, to admire the beautiful scenery along the Nile, to experience local shopping, and to meet children at a local orphanage. This truly was a trip of a lifetime!
Vera & Nick Lagasse (mother & son), Burnaby, B.C. (Egypt: Sacred Temples & Ancient Wisdom - Nov/07)

I've wanted to do a Yoga/Surf experience for a while now - I had found a few other places that do this kind of vacation but when I found Sacred Earth Journeys on the web they seemed to have everything I was looking for, and they made it so easy for me. I would definitely travel with them again, I'd love to go back to the retreat, it was incredible. They helped make my dream come true, I had a wonderful time.
Samantha Dubiel, Toronto, Ontario (Yoga & Surf Retreat in Maui - Aug/07)

The food was superb - not only amazing skills (portion sizes, healthy, paying attention to details and little "extras", delicious, good variety), but also cooked with friendliness & love. The yoga was excellent - I really liked the yoga teacher - great attention to detail. The surfing was very fun and enjoyable - proud to have learned such a cool sport! Very good positive energy was felt on this Maui trip, that staff was great and it was a real treat to relax completely. I really like your organization and will book more trips in the future!
Marie-Eve Caron, Calgary, Alberta (Yoga & Surf Retreat in Maui - Apr/07)

This trip was a gentle reminder to BREATHE and to take the time to reconnect with my inner self. Chelsea and Hillary were great guides who encouraged us to open up on many levels and to make the most of our journey. Our group was willing to share in these personal explorations and created a safe environment that was non-judgmental.
Kellie Mitchell, Yellowknife, NWT (Yoga & Sea Kayaking in the Baja - Mar/07)

Yoga and Kayaking in the wilderness - a truly relaxing and rejuvenating experience on many levels. The setting was amazing (I will never forget the night sky in the desert) and our guides were both complete treasures.
Janice Mallison, Richmond, B.C. (Yoga & Sea Kayaking in the Baja - Mar/07)

If you need time away from the Rat Race - a place to relax, think and get re-acquainted with your inner self - this is the way to do it! The other participants were all educated and very interesting. Everyone had a unique story. The setting is truly beautiful and the yoga instructor and guide were first rate.
Morley Hornung, Vancouver, B.C. (Yoga & Sea Kayaking in the Baja - Mar/07)

I loved the "organic" yoga. Chelsea went beyond expectations and included early morning and late afternoon meditation sessions and walks. Something my soul was craving. It was just the right amount of kayaking. It was great meeting all the "like minded" people on this trip. Hillary and Chelsea are wonderful people.
Ellen Huggett, Kamloops, B.C. (Yoga & Sea Kayaking in the Baja - Mar/07)

It was such a great trip. I don't know if I will ever be able to go to a regular resort trip. The kayaking to these secluded beaches, sleeping outside while gazing at the stars (without ANY bugs), great food that included warm home made cakes and practicing yoga while the sun was setting behind the mountains. Who can ask for anything else.
Nicole Guertin, Kapuskasing, Ontario (Yoga & Sea Kayaking in the Baja - Feb/07)

I completed the North India Adventure and would rate everything as excellent. It truly was a first class trip and FUN! It was a great itinerary, the food was wonderful, guides & drivers were amazing......everything was perfect and it was way beyond what I expected. Thanks to your team (esp. Helen) for hooking me up with a grand adventure.
Kendra Phillips, Dulles, VA (North India Adventure - Jan/07)

In my many travels, I found this to be the most interesting tour I have ever been on. There was a lot of information covered during the days there, yet it left me wanting more. That's a good thing! It was an amazing journey into the past and the future. In was so spiritually enlightening that I relive the experience every day through my memories and my photo's. I thank Sacred Earth Journeys and all of those who were instrumental in putting the journey together. Also not to forget the others who came on the trip and experienced the journey. They too made the journey complete. What a ride!
Al Domingo, Salinas, CA (Maya Sacred Path to 2012 - Dec/06)

My experience was life changing on your tour. I went with no expectations and came away feeling I needed to share the Mayan messages with everyday people to help them wake up to the natural cycles of life. I wrote down all the ceremonies and plan to repeat them on our mountain. Miguel's message was loud and clear that we need to wake up and recognize our ancestors, send them love and heed their warnings. The ceremonies were awesome and my awakening secured. The sacredness of the sites that we visited in the jungles and on the normal tourist trips were awe inspiring. Opening our chakra systems and recognizing the intellect of the Mayans makes one wonder why their knowledge lay dormant for so long. I plan on going next year with my husband and every year after that until there is no need to travel.
Linda Strom-Medvitz, El Cajon, CA (Maya Sacred Path to 2012 - Dec/06)

Every step, every breath, and every heartbeat in the Yucatan was sacred and unlocked another piece of my true soul essence. I have a sense of freedom within my physicality that has never existed for me....I released years of trauma. I feel as though I am floating in a void of possibilities and not restricted by the past. I can't wait for my self-limiting mind to catch up to this new freedom.
Sheryl Watson, Edmonton, Alberta (Maya Sacred Path to 2012 - Dec/06)

The Walking Tour of Ancient Japan exceeded my expectations beyond measure.  Our tour was well conceived and designed by Sacred Earth Journeys and our wonderful guide Vasana, to provide a look at the incredible variety and diversity of spiritual life and practice in ancient Japan. We gained an excellent understanding of how many of these traditions and practices survive in modern Japan. The synergy between Shinto and Buddhist practices made perfect sense.  The gardens were a joy to behold, each one unique and exquisite in its own way, shedding insight into the Japanese psyche and why art pervades all aspects of Japanese life.  There is a reverence for beauty in design, order, detail and utility that carries over from its Temples, Shrines, Palaces and Gardens into its bullet trains, shops and conveniences. Daily informal contact with ordinary people was a wonderful way to experience how the Japanese people think and respond to all types of situations. And how else can you see poetry carved into beautifully mounted rock stelae in the middle of a nature trail few people ever walk? What an extraordinary glimpse of a unique culture!
Sue Mirialakis, White Plains, New York (Walking Tour of Ancient Japan - Nov/06)

I arrived in Merida with an open mind and heart. I could never have imagined the gifts that I would receive while there - from the Gods, the land, the people of the Yucatan and from my fellow travellers. This trip has changed me in some very profound ways and I will never view life and the universe in the same way. To me this trip was a gift and I sincerely thank Helen, Trudy, Julia, Richard and Miguel Angel. To me it was an honor to be on the trip and working on such dynamic levels. I will be on every trip until 2012.
Kathy Watt, Calgary, Alberta (Maya Sacred Path to 2012 - Dec/06)

The trip was above and beyond anything that I could have perceived. I went with no expectations but with an open heart. Richard was amazing as always and Miguel Angel was a gift beyond measure. All the ceremonies were insightful and brought great spiritual growth for me. I can hardly wait for next year!! I do not believe that anyone can go on a journey like that and remain unchanged. The group was great and I believe that many of us will remain lifelong friends.
Eva-Marie Saumier, Banff, Alberta (Maya Sacred Path to 2012 - Dec/06)

Our pilgrimage to Egypt was the trip of a lifetime. From the mystery and timelessness of the Great Pyramid to the wonders of the magnificent temples, Egypt was for us a journey long awaited. Our tour leaders led us on a remarkable pilgrimage where we entered areas sealed off from most other groups. We took part in enlightening ceremonies in the temple sanctuaries and listened to fascinating lectures on ancient Egyptian secrets. We even spent an hour and a half meditating in the Kings Chamber of the Great Pyramid - an amazing experience!

The hotels were beautiful - this journey was all done in luxury. Everywhere people worked hard to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The Nile Cruise was also a delight. We were really impressed with the staff, especially in the dining room. Egyptian waiters must be the best! The standard of service everywhere was excellent. We were very happy we chose to take this tour. There are so many tours available, be we chose the best. We can wholeheartedly recommend Sacred Earth Journeys and thank them for making our trip to Egypt an unforgettable experience.
Mohini & Patrick Mayers, Bermuda (Egypt: Sacred Temples & Ancient Illumination - Nov/06)

I set out a year ago to find a trip my daughter Luc and I could take that would provide us with a lasting memory of our last year living together. My little puma finishes school this year and plans to move on to greater places than Rockyford. As budgets are tight in my world, I wanted a trip that offered an educational and unique experience for both of us. This trip served up far more than either of us expected I think. It was more than a glimpse of Mayan culture and history; it was a healing journey for both of us and tackled some things we both needed to ditch to move into our future(s) whole and centered. We will keep our memories of a wonderful trip with wonderful people to a mysterious land. I send a big heart chakra hug to Sacred Earth Journeys and all involved in organizing and executing this trip.
Claudette Lacombe, Rockyford, Alberta (Maya Sacred Path to 2012 - Dec/06)

The temples, land, and people interaction was more than I expected. Having a great local guide in Don Miguel Angel was a blessing. His knowledge, passion and dedication to his mission provided us with an experience beyond a vacation. Time and place were transcended!
Luis Aguirre, San Antonio, Texas (Maya Sacred Path to 2012 - Dec/06)

How do you begin to explain a mind blowing, mind bending, heart opening, experience in just mere words?? I started out with the feeling that I had not a lot to offer the group. As we progressed through each of the Sites and Chakra's, I became stronger and stronger. Fears melted away. My heart was open to the Group and the Universe. I began to hold space. My shoulder was available to those who needed a helping hand traversing some of the sites. The same shoulder was available to those who were processing their own fears to hold them, breath with them, let my energy flow through. What a feeling to be connected with another Human and the Universe. I have been telling Donna in the past I don't feel this energy that you all are talking about and many have told me I posses a great deal of. NOW I believe. I felt it at many sites but at Chichen Itza it really became evident. I have a picture of me plastered with my back up against the wall. I am breathing in and trying to give energy back to the pyramid IT WON'T LET ME!!!! It is pushing my hands out from the wrists then almost to my elbows. The picture shows this glowing area at my Heart Chakra. Call it just the way the sun is shining, etc. Call it just my imagination but to me is was really, really real. I think I was just about the oldest member of the Group. I will be 75 my next birthday. As people found out my age all said age has nothing to do with it. Your energy, holding space within the group etc. was what counted.

We observed many, many tour groups JUST LOOKING at the Temples, etc. Yes we to saw the magnificence of the temples and the knowledge of the ages contained. More importantly, this was truly a SACRED JOURNEY but not one just outward, but inward, penetrating deeply into the very crevices of the mind and heart, peeling away all facades, exposing the real you and your potential and responsibility to offer healing to the earth. To share wisdom with others at your level of understanding at this time. Knowing that it is only a beginning of my journey that will continue during this lifetime.
Harry Bair (The Bear), La Mesa, CA (Maya Sacred Path to 2012 - Dec/06)

Maya Sacred Path to 2012 was more than a trip; it was a life transforming event that brought the true beauty of the Maya in to focus as no one else could. The guides were knowledgeable, and approachable in the way that one would approach a long time friend, and it attracted the kind of people that are likely to be friends long after the trip is done.
Tim Snodgrass, El Cajon, CA (Maya Sacred Path to 2012 - Dec/06)

The Women’s retreat to Todos Santos was unlike other vacation experiences I have had.  It was a fabulous blend of adventure and nurturing for the body, mind and soul.  Our host Shani and yoga teacher Theresa created a magical experience that was heightened by the perfect weather & stunning ocean view.  The yoga was fabulous, the food was amazing and the surfing was a riot!

I cannot start to describe the feeling after this journey. Up until today I still think about all that was said and felt. As if I wanted to remember this spiritual journey forever. I had gone on a totally different aspect and came back amazed about what I had just discovered about myself. If I could only make you feel what I felt...Thank you Sacred Earth Journeys, I wouldn't have been to Peru if it wasn't for you. Thank you Helen.
Noureddine Laouina, Dubai, UAE (Sacred Sites of Peru & Machu Picchu - Oct/06)

Sacred Earth Journeys made my travel planning effortless and trouble-free.  The friendly service was most appreciated; I felt like part of the family.  The Web site is attractive and easy to use and I had no trouble finding information whenever I needed it.   I would definitely use Sacred Earth Journeys again to plan my travel and will recommend it to my friends.

This excursion was the first guided tour, of any kind, we have participated in. I believe because of the topic and subject matter, that the guidance was captivating and extremely powerful due to the sacred locations and the spirit of all our hosts. The work at hand is important and inspiring and we are honored to carry forth the essence of what has been awakened in us. A good friend of mine can be heard saying “all roads converge”. Many months ago a seed was planted and spirit, knowing our hearts, brought us to this journey for amazing life changes – this “convergence of roads” is undeniable!!

The journey to Sedona was transformational for me and for my sister and niece. All of us are experiencing a whole new way of being in the world post trip, and I think now busily integrating our respective newness into what we had left behind. It is somewhat astounding to me that what feels like such a profound internal shift resulted from merely four days' time.

The SEJ tour guides, Mark and Andrea were as wonderful as you had advised, if not more so. What I appreciated the most, though, was their absolute humility. Each so full of knowing and so bereft of ego attachment - not only guides, but way showers. I am entirely grateful for the energies they invested to create such safe containers each day - so that each of us individually could most comfortably integrate the powerful energies of the vortices. Their shamanic acuity is undeniable and deeply healing. Wow.

As I write this email, I realize the absolute constraints of the english language. I am constantly feeling at a loss to fully articulate what that journey meant; still means. There are two words, however, that form a repetitive refrain in my mind as I'm typing: "powerful" and "experience" and so, I realize. There is really is only one way to say it in english. It was, and continues to be, a Powerful Experience. Thanks for making the connection happen.

Sacred Earth Journeys has a beautiful website - fantastically maintained - that really shows the passion of the trips available. Tons of information, travels that will shock your soul and make you whole again! Wonderful people behind the system and extremely helpful. Will definitely be back myself to look at new adventures, and will definitely pass on the goodies of this website to the people in my life, looking to get away on something more than just a holiday, but an experience to a whole new World! Many, many thanks!

Yoga and surfing in Maui was wonderful.  The sun was warm and strong each day, the sea nourished my soul.  I heard humpback whales singing to their young during feeding, each morning during my swim, and the sand was soft and golden.  The yoga strengthened and stretched my body and mind.  The food and companionship enlightened me!

Helen, My whole life I had dreamed of traveling to India but felt that it would be a difficult country to do independent travel. My husband and I are not “tour type” people and tend to flee anytime we’re traveling and see a tour bus arrive. I was somewhat apprehensive about doing a tour but felt this was the best way to do India. The Tastes and Texture tour of India was right up our alley. Indian food is a favourite so an opportunity to go on a guided tour of India and also to have cooking classes was too good to miss. The fact that it was a small group sealed the deal.

Our guide, Benoy was fantastic. The trip far exceeded any expectations that I had. I have done a lot of traveling in my lifetime and have never ever enjoyed a trip as much as I enjoyed the time spent in South India. Thanks so much for organizing the trip. You did a fantastic job.

I turned 40 and had an intention of taking a "sacred journey" to celebrate life. I called two of my coaches and they recommended looking at a Sacred Journey and there you were! The trip to Teotihuacan was transformational. Love and joy were flowing boundlessly throughout the trip. Sheri Rosenthal is the most present teacher I have ever worked with. The group and trip were a life blessing and I am filled with love and gratitude.
Carol Levine, Eden Prairie, MN (Mexico - Teotihuacan: A Toltec Journey - Feb/06)

The trip was indeed transformative. The accommodations were great – our Tour Leader, Sheri was fabulous – good blend of exercise, ceremony, learning experiences. In short, everything I took for granted in my life as being safe/secure is being looked at with new eyes. The journey opened the door of my heart and invited the divine to sweep a “searchlight” back and forth to bring light on those areas of darkness that need attention.

Without a doubt the SwellWomen Experience that Sacred Earth Journeys offers is the best all-around retreat I've ever been too. The planned activities facilitated stimulation of both my physical and mental well-being. Going surfing and practicing yoga with Me-Shell and her support staff on the beautiful island of Maui was indeed rejuvenating. The physical activity forced me to breathe in deeply and to re-energize while the exhale provided a comfort zone to release inner tension and clarity. Namaste!

My trip to Japan with Vasana was a travel highlight of my life. Her passion and love for Japan is infectious and she showed us so many beautiful temples off the usual path. If you want nature, beauty and fun, this is the trip for you.

The timing of our incredible trip to Japan in November 2005 was perfect to witness the fall color throughout city, temple and forest settings while still being warm and dry. The itinerary included the perfect blend of activity and relaxation for immersing oneself in the natural and cultural beauty of Japan. It was inspiring and exciting while, at the same time, meditative with many opportunities to rejuvenate mind, body and spirit. Vasana was a knowledgeable leader who knew just the right approach to maximize our enjoyment and travel investment.

The Egypt trip was great!!!!!, I had a wonderful time. I was so delighted with all the organization, the hotels, the whole experience was beyond my expectations. It was a dream come true for me. The people in the group were so nice and so spiritually inclined. I made wonderful friends. I am planning on a future trip, Peru Maybe??? This was my first, but definately not my last Sacred Earth Journey. Thank you for planning these beautiful journeys.

Through Sacred Earth Journeys, my husband and I were able to experience a life-changing adventure. I now understand why they call it, 'Incredible India.' Our itinerary covered not just the quintessential tourist attractions, but also some tucked away treasures that  indulged each of our senses. Our guides were very knowledgeable, especially Karampal in Varanasi
(a must-see holy city!). I felt like I learned more in four weeks on this tour than I did in four years of university. Hotels were great, a guide and driver greeted us at every location and overall, we were treated very well. India is a very special place. Thank you for your part in making this a trip of a lifetime.

The only true way to impress you with the value of taking a trip like this to the Yucatan is to have you go yourself. Only a first-hand experience can truly convey the wisdom and cosmic knowledge the Maya people had. We are all Maya, returned to this place in this time, to build a harmonious and eager understanding of our true nature. I have gleaned much understanding from this trip, and will be adding to my teachings in the future. We were fortunate enough to have Miguel Angel Vergara, Ph.D., a Mayan Master Teacher, with us. We did authentic Mayan ceremony at the top of the pyramid at Chichen Itza, and several ceremonies at sites, including Loltun, Uxmal, and Ek Balam. Miguel explained to us his understanding of the true meaning of many of the Mayans philosophies and teachings. As you hear me say: “95% of all communication is energy, not verbal or physical;” so it is with the Yucatan peninsula. We are very fortunate that Helen Tomei, the owner of Sacred Earth Journeys, has the desire to build such wonderful spiritual journeys. She came along on our travels, and our group bonded instantly and made our experiences only stronger. You cannot go on a trip like this and not experience fundamental changes in your character and understanding of our nature.

I know you don't need my words to convey how much I loved this trip, Helen. When I wasn't having fun with everybody, I was in calm, reverent beingness. The whole trip was perfect - you, Richard Jelusich, Miguel Angel, Trudy, Julia, our driver Victor Manuel, the hotels, food (especially mangoes!), and most of all the selection of sacred sites and how Miguel taught us so much about them (which of course was teaching us about ourselves and who we really are). And who could guess we'd get to swim, leap and play in a sublime, other-worldly cenote?! What a multi-dimensional journey altogether.  Thank you so much for your part in making the magic happen, Helen. You and the other tour leaders made me feel totally supported and taken care of.

I loved the trip!!! It was so much more than I expected, thank you so much for supplying all the little extras, like the horse drawn carts, and having water on hand in the bus, they were really nice little touches. The hotels were beautiful, much nicer than I expected, food was out of this world, service was top notch, didn't meet a person I didn't like. The Mayan sites were mindboggling. Miguel Angel is truly an angel, one of the kindest and most focused men I've met in my life. Trudy & our driver Guillermo were wonderful, we all became fast friends. All in all, I LOVED it, and almost can't believe it really happened. Thank you Sacred Earth Journeys!

I can't think of any way to improve that trip to Mexico. It was outstanding in everyway. I loved the variety of accomodations. Miguel Angel, Trudy, the drivers, all did an excellent job. I wouldn't want to have missed any of the Mayan sites, and the cenote at Chichen Itza was amazing. I came home so happy - it was absolutely wonderful. I liked staying in Merida as well. Helen you did an outstanding job. Now I want to go to Peru next. The best of everything to you!

I was interested in travelling to Peru and decided to go with Sacred Earth Journeys because I figured that going to such a spiritual place should be appreciated within that context. I wasn't sure how I was going to fit in because I thought that the group might be a little 'out there'. Helen assured me that there were all types, and she was right. In fact, everybody had something very interesting to add to the group dynamic. The Lake Titicacca excursion turned out to be an incredible life-affirming and life-altering experience for me. I remember our tour leader Andrea saying, "there is life before Peru, and life after Peru". I thought she might have been exaggerating; however, I can now attest to the truth of her statement. Thank-you Helen for facilitating this journey.

I had a great trip to Peru! Shopping for llama and alpaca wears was a very interesting part for me, not to mention the jewellery. Because I am fluent in Spanish I was able to bargain (not only for myself but for others on our trip) and trade things I brought. I instantly made friends with people due to this. The spiritual aspect of our journey was most educational and some of the things I learned will be put into practice in my daily life at home as well as into my Reiki classes. My time at Machu Picchu was magical. Once I climbed to the top of the highest mountain peak, and looked down upon the ruins, I felt like I was peeking into another world. We were all mesmerized!!! I thought I had seen the highlight of Peru, but then came our visit to the Uros Floating Islands on Lake Titicaca. Wow--- what a feeling it was to be in the schoolhouse on a floating island helping the local children make dream pillows. I can only hope it was as memorable an experience for the students as it was for me! Then once again we were blown away by the emotions that we felt during the Winter Solstice Ceremony. I am going back to Peru just as soon as I can. I am also very interested in taking another Spiritual Journey to one of your other destinations in the near future.

My trip to Egypt was the first time I have ever joined a tour group, so I was a bit apprehensive. It was everything I hoped for and more. Even with a large number of participants, we bonded quickly and got along fabulously. Although the group was very diverse in age and background, everyone had a genuine interest in learning as much as possible about the ancient civilization and sites we had come to explore. The tour guides and experts accompanying the group were all friendly, professional and very approachable. The accommodations were outstanding and every detail was taken care of. My only regret is that the 12 day trip ended too soon. But I have made several valuable friendships and have already been in touch with many of the group since the trip ended. Thank you Helen and Andrea for an incredible experience I will never forget.

Helen, it was a truly remarkable trip. My hat's off particularly to Andrea Pinkham - her own spiritual strength and leadership in many ways was clearly evident. Additionally, Soha and Sahar, the Egyptologists were utterly amazing in who they are as women and educators. Dr. Christopher Dunn, David Childress, Mark Pinkham, and Stephen Meyer were also absolutely terrific and their information fabulous. The group on the whole, was a group of beautiful souls who got along so well in such a caring manner. In short, an awesome trip, life-enriching and life altering! Thanks, Helen, for everything you helped organize on this great trip!

Andrea Pinkham's (Tour Leader) organizational abilities are exceptional. Her certitude and calmness were exemplary in all situations. Egypt remains a fascinating destination even after several previous trips there. The accompanying tour leaders, Christopher Dunn, Stephen Mehler, David Childress and Mark Pinkham made the tour an outstanding experience. The Egyptologists, Soha and Sahar, were outstanding women - very articulate, knowledgeable and capable. Both women had pleasant personalities and each displayed a high order of intelligence. They were very patient, kind and understanding in every way. The bus drivers were professional and courteous in every way. The accommodations, transportation within Egypt, the food - all excellent.

The Sacred Earth Journey trip to Peru is an opportunity not to miss, particularly the Inca Mysteries and Magic trip I participated in during June, 2004. Helen Tomei in Vancouver co-ordinates the trip, and takes care of organizing all the finest details from the plane ticket to the hotels, and anything else you request. I just had to show up to enjoy the adventure. Helen's knowledge and passion for travel makes her a great travel adventure representative, and the uniqueness of the trips she represents is strongly reflected by her web page. After three weeks, I left Peru with a renewed sense of awe at the legacies so many of the spiritual sites offer to those seeking to experience a deeper spiritual dimension. It was quite a humbling experience to participate in group ceremonies at the many sacred sites in the Sacred Valley, and the leadership, knowledge and wisdom of the group tour leaders, Andrea and Jorge enrichened the experiences. Through exploration, I learnt so much about the history of the temples and sacred places, but practising the ceremonies lent an "experiencial" element that deepened my understanding of these temple sites. The night ceremony at Machu Picchu will remain a highlight to the trip. Standing beneath the stars of the Milky Way, and surrounded by the beauty of Machu Picchu, I felt privileged to have an opportunity to connect on such a personal level with the stones, apus and pachamama. The trip was both a communal and personal journey... the fellowship of the group kept the energy fun and interesting, and all in all, the trip was a perfect blend of laughter, adventure and spiritual pilgrimage. It was a unique visual and spiritual feast, and something I will cherish for the rest of my life.

My time away was nothing short of awesome. What a wonderful place! My hotel had such a great view of the rocks. Definitely a place to wake up to. The group was incredible, I couldn't have asked for anything more. We seemed to form an early bond and got along with great ease. We did lots of laughing and crying together. Even our guide Mark had a blast with us as we did with him. The entire group was just so kind, loving and truly caring that it reminds me why I am on this journey.

We visited the most amazing vortex's, Cathedral Rock, Airport Mesa, Castle Rock, Boynton Canyon. After climbing high into the mountains we performed a medicine wheel at each site while laying on the rock and taking in the sun and air. We each had very moving experiences and felt wonderful later. We also took a jeep tour through the mountains and visited an Indian Ruin and got some of the history of the people and land.

My roommate Adele, and other partner in crime, Barbara are planning another journey in the future. Helen, I think you and your company, Sacred Earth Journeys, are first rate and I am only too happy to encourage others to book through you.

"For me getting to go to Sedona Arizona with other like minded people is the height of excitement and fun. I wasn't disappointed.

First, Body, Mind, Spirit Journey's arranged for me to broadcast my web radio show on Wednesday night from a special room at the hotel. Then each day, our wonderful guides, Andrea and Mark Pinkham led us to a vortex (energy center), where we learned to build a medicine wheel, explored the area, meditated, and later we even had a Halloween Party at the leaders' home base for the week! All the services were excellent, the food was good, we had free time to explore on our on, and shop for things that you can't find anywhere else.

I want my name at the top of the list for May, I will return! Did I mention that Superman and his kid sister joined us (private joke)? Each member added to the spirit of the events. Helen Tomei, the BMSJ representative from Canada, was friendly and helpful in the group events. Thank you again, I recommend the tour to anyone who is open to new experiences."

"I am now back into my daily routine, but I have a different outlook and a different state of mind. The trip to Sedona was quite an experience. I received so much and I have much to share with everyone around me. I absorbed the energy and processed the vibration thereby releasing stagnant energy and expanding my auric field. Love, light and eternity awaits me. I still feel the vibration inside me, I am very open and at Peace! I want to thank Mark and Andrea (Tour Leaders) for their guidance, information and love. The tour was a success thanks to their knowledge and caring for all of us. It was great meeting Helen Tomei on the tour and I wish her all the success in promoting these very special tours in Canada"

It has been almost three years since I went to your first Yoga & Surf Experience in Maui. I have to tell you that the dividends of that week are still rolling in. I am in better physical shape than I have been in more than a decade, and better emotional and spiritual shape as well. I'm still a lousy surfer (I may never graduate from a knee stand-up to a true pop-up) but I am also one of the happiest surfers in the water. I went out yesterday with my son. The water was 35 degrees. The air was 18 degrees, but it was a 6 foot swell with a 12 second period and very sunny. People were skating on the pond down the road, and a bald eagle was playing in the sky overhead.
